GENERAL INTRODUCTION JOBS :

Doing something or contribute in the form of energy, thoughts and ideas to a firm or organization to produce goods or services.

EMPLOYMENT CONCEPT IN ISLAM :

• All legitimate employment is counted Islamic worship. In Islamic labor, working not merely for the sake of worldly but its is also for the life after death that counts.

• Labor is not merely a total workforce or the services offered to the buyer of the workforce. Both the employer and the labor party has a moral and social responsibility in the economic between employers, workers and society.

• LABOUR: Any vicarious efforts and by physical strength or intellectual man is to get the rewards. This concept encompasses all who do the same work who use physical force or ingenuity to get the job. Whether intentional reward in the form of money, you sustain and property.

LABOUR IN ISLAM : Allah S.W.T does not differentiate among male and female humans, ethnicity, race, national origin and skin color. One reward will be received by faith and the work that was done. Individuals who strive and work hard will be rewarded accordingly. The Qur'an signify the basic principles through the word of Allah S.W.T “Disebalik kepayahan ada kesenangan" (Surah al-Insyirah 94:6) In islam labor, the labor is unnable to do according to

their wish. Labor is not authorized to engage in employment is prohibited by Islamic law.

Employees and employers are not allowed to oppress each other.

TWO ASPECTS OF THE ISLAMIC LABOR

3. They must be given the necessary medical assistance and given sick leave and adequate payment for the period. Provisions must be made for reflection pension payments.

4. The employee must be paid, unemployment compensation benefits during the unemployment period (Baitulmal).

5. They must be paid adequate compensation, if an accident while on duty, labor can get the goods from the factory they work for a cheap price as incentive.

6. According to Islam, they should give a friendly and fair services.

7 . They must provide a satisfactory residence so that the health and efficiency is always guaranteed.

ISLAMIC CONCEPT OF LABOUR

Labour in Islam upholds the concept of devotion to Allah S.W.T which lay the foundation prayer five times a day as a way to build one's personality and trustworthy among the labor noble. (prayer an important element in the formation of labor culture is dedicated, reliable, obedient to the direction and force with high self-esteem and quality.

In Islamic jurisprudence, when a man is getting closer to Allah by performing good deeds, it will produce the peace and well-being of society. The relationship between human and the creator, is according to the concept of economics, where there is a positive relationship between religious and secular balanced.

In the context of Islamic economics, balance in life is as important as the balance in conventional economic theory. For example, a balanced individual should always have positive thinking and free from unhealthy activities and immoral.

The Concept Of Halal (Lawful) And Haram (Unlawful) Based On Islam Meaning of halal (lawful).

(Arabic: حالل ḥalāl, 'permissible') is any object or an action which is permissible to use according to Islamic law.

The terms not only covers about the food and drink as halal (lawful) but also all the matters of daily life.

“ Allah SWT telah memudahkan untuk kamu apa-apa yang ada dilangit dan ada-ada yang ada dibumi “ (surat al-Jatsiyah:13)

The first policy set by Islam is original of something that created by Allah SWT is halal (lawful) and permissible.

Meaning of haram ( unlawful).

Ḥaram (Arabic: ام JَرJح ḥarām) is an Arabic term that meaning sinful and an action which is forbidden.

The Haram (unlawful) things are very little and it is based on Islamic law that forbid it ( Al-quran and Sunnah).

The reason why several things is Haram in Islam because :.

* Against with the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.

* Something is against with the values, ethics and morals of

society.

* bring harm and a bad effect on human health and life.

Searching the halal ( lawful) earning based on Islamic law

Searching a halal earnings is a mandatory aspect of every Muslim.

According to Islam, in order to get a halal income a person should be doing a job that allowed by Islamic law.

Obviously-its Haram occupation involving alcohol, gambling, corruption, pork , usury , cheating in selling-buying and prostitution.

Each of income earned is a halal (lawful) in Islam as long a no Haram (unlawful) elements in it.

Allah says...“Dan Allah s.w.t telah menghalalkan berjual-beli (berniaga) dan mengharamkan riba”

THERE ARE FOUR THINGS THAT CAN BE FOLLOW TO OBTAIN A HALAL EARNINGS :

1) Iman (faith) = Muslims must have faith in Allah S.W.T and Rasullulah and then do all religious instruction and leave the things that forbidden.

2) Takwa (piety) = Afraid of Allah S.W.T and believe that every action is monitored by Allah S.W.T.

3) Kesolehan (preserve the dignity and religion) = Muslims should keep their dignity and religion and carry out responsibilities with trust and sincerity.

4) Istiqamah (continuous and consistent) = Muslims are required to work hard and never give up to achieve their best.

CONCLUSION: labour in islamic perspertive is seen in the wider context that covers importants of the labour and the welfare of labour its self. It also consider about the halal and haram matters in every work performed. Prevent the forbidden things because of Allah SWT, that person will get the reward and do forbidden things are given sinned.
