Prestressed Concrete Panels are a quicker and easier alternative to block work and shuttering.
The panels are designed to be used for cladding buildings and as a retaining wall suitable for
silage, root crops, grain and earth retaining.
They are manufactured with two lifting sockets cast in to the top edge of each panel for easy
handling and fitting with no holes to fill. A set of lifting hooks are provided.
The panels can either be made to fit between stanchions or to sit either on the inside or
outside face. The panels can be fastened quickly and easily with galvanised clips and bolts, in
to threaded sockets in the back of each panel .
Panels can be placed on top of each other for additional height. They are designed with a
tongue and groove feature along the top and bottom of each panel so that they sit securely
and can be sealed.
Our standard sizes of panels are 4573mm (15’0”) and 6098mm (20’0”) lengths but we can
make any length of panel to order, in heights of 1220mm (4’0”), 610mm (2’0”), 1m and 1.5m
in thickness ranging from (75mm (3”) to 175mm (7”)
Please contact us for the full range of sizes available.

Prestressed Vertical Walls are produced using high strength prestressed concrete. Although
designed for silage and slurry they are equally suitable for root crops, grain, waste material etc.
They are manufactured with two lifting sockets in the top of each section for easy handling and
fitting, with no holes to fill. A set of lifting hooks can be provided.
The panels are designed with tongue and grooves down each side so each section fits together
which can then be sealed with mastic to form a sealed structure.
The panels can be manufactured in two different thickness so they may be used either single
loading or double loading. Panels are supplied complete with stand to support panels whilst
fitting and site rails can be provided if required.
Panels are available in heights of 2440mm (8’0”) and 3050mm (10’0”) and are a standard width of
1220mm (4’0”).
Page 2
Craven wall silage panels are manufactured using the conventional “L” shaped design, tied in to the
floor with reinforcing starter bars to form a complete, rigid structure. The wall panels are suitable for
the storage of silo, grain, root crops, waste materials etc.
They are manufactured with two lifting sockets cast into the edges of the panel for ease of handling
and fitting with no holes to fill and seal in panel face. Panels are easy to seal along the vertical joints
due to rebates cast in to the panels edges.
Panels can be made to be used either single loading, double loading and with a backfill load
depending on your requirements. Site rails and mastic is available upon request. Craven walls are
available in various heights and section widths depending on their intended usage.

These Portable Dividing Walls are an ideal solution for creating either a permanent or temporary
storage bunker for silage, grain, potato, waste materials, etc.
The dividers can be fastened down but generally this is not necessary and units can be moved easily
by forklift or foreloader.
There is no need to dig up any existing floor to install the dividers as they will sit on any reasonably
flat surface to provide you with an instant storage bay which can be varied to your own requirements.
The Dividing Walls are transported flat to be assembled on site. Each unit is made up of two parts
which are very easy to assemble using the instructions and jig provided.
The top of each unit is joined together with a bracket which doubles as a lifting hook. At the bottom
there are two spreader bars which bolt in to sockets already cast in to the panel.

Yankee Strut Wall Panels are an extremely strong and economically priced walling system. They were
initially designed as a silage wall system as the sloping wall design helps consolidation and facilitates
rolling of grass, but they can be used for any type of storage such as grain, root crops and waste
materials.
The Yankee Strut Walls are available in two versions depending on individual requirements, they can
either be manufactured with cast in starter bars which can then be tied in to the floor before concreting
to form a complete rigid structure or the wall panels can also be manufactured to be bolted down to an
existing concrete pad or strip foundation so they may be moved if necessary.
Each concrete section has lifting sockets along the top edge for which lifting loops are supplied for ease
of lifting and fitting with suitable farm machinery.

Circular Slurry Stores are manufactured from high strength precast concrete for a long and durable
life, they are suitable for installation above or below ground and into hillsides depending on ground
conditions.
Circular Slurry Stores are available up to a 1,000,000 gallon capacity, 4880mm (16ft) high and are
made up of 1830mm (6ft) wide concrete sections. Each section being tied to the next with plastic
coated stressing cables which continue around the store and are tensioned when the whole store is
erected.
Once the store is erected and tensioned, all joints are sealed with polyurethane mastic. All vertical
joints are double sealed as is the base joint with a ring beam.
We are also able to provide reception pits, all pipe work, sluice valves, side stirrers, umbilical outlets
and inspection platforms as required.

Our Weeping Wall Storage System is designed to meet BS 5502, DEFRA and NRA
standards.
Weeping Walls are designed to separate the effluent from the muck by allowing it to
seep through the voids in the panels in to the channel constructed around the store.
The effluent can then run off in to a separate collection tank.
Sockets are cast in to the top of each concrete section for easy lifting and fitting, lifting
hooks supplied as required. Mastic is supplied to seal the channel around the outside of
store to prevent any leakage of effluent.
Each store can be made to your own specific size, gateways and ramps can be made as

Cattle Slats are manufactured from reinforced concrete, using the semi-dry cast method. They are
much stronger and easier to lay than traditional single slats, but do require laying on a mortar bed to
prevent them from rocking. They are a cheaper and more durable alternative to steel slats and due to
their flat, smooth top surface they are better for cows to walk on and minimises damage to their feet.
Cattle Slats are designed for use above slurry channels and underground tanks and are also used as
part of a suspended floor system. Cattle Slats are manufactured in various sizes and strengths to
accommodate heavy farm traffic, manhole slats are also available. We manufacture beams to suite
our range of slats, please ask for details. 2 & 4 TONNE AXLE LOAD 800MM (2’7.5”) WIDE 150MM (6”) THICK

These precast Effluent Channels are most commonly used for across the front of silage stores and
concrete aprons but the are equally as useful in front of building doorways, across farm tracks
etc. to drain away excess water.
The channels are cast with rebates in each end so that the joints can be easily sealed with mastic.
All units come complete with a galvanised grid which can lifted off so the channel can be cleaned.
The external dimensions of each section are 381mm (15”) wide, 228mm (9”) deep and come in
915mm (3’0”) sections, the internal dimensions are 152mm (6”) wide x 152mm (6”) deep.
Page 15
Our Portable Cubicles are designed with safety in mind, the concrete division in the centre of each
cubicle gives the cows protection from trodden teats, they are also ideal for young stock as there is
no middle rail to get stuck under. The concrete division of this particular design also means that the
galvanised rail is not in contact with the floor therefore preventing damage and decay from slurry.
Cubicles can be set out in an existing building to provide instant cubicle housing or can also be used
as part of a suspended floor system over slurry channels.
Our standard size of cubicle is 2134mm (7’) x 1220mm (4’) but other sizes and designs are available
upon request including the popular Cow Comfort type.
Our pre cast Heel Stones are designed to be used with
the sand bed cubicle system.
They are manufactured with 3 holes along the length
of the Heel Stone so that it can be securely fixed to the
floor. A hole in each end allows the Heel Stones to be
joined together to form a continuous run.
The standard size of our Heel Stone is 200mm (8”)
wide x 175mm (7”) deep x 4500mm (15’) Long.

These precast Concrete Feed Troughs are designed for feeding either from one or both sides as
required. They are available either as a trough on it’s own or complete with a galvanised steel
adjustable barrier rail.
Each unit is cast with lifting sockets set in along the top edge of the trough for easy lifting and
fitting for which lifting loops can be provided. These lifting sockets are then used to bolt the barrier
rail clamp to if they are required. The barrier rail itself is designed so that the ‘T’ section which
supports the rail is central to the channel unit, therefore is does not interfere with the distribution
of feed products in to the trough when using a spout from the back of a feed wagon.
We also manufacture a high backed feed trough, to be used without barrier rails.

We manufacture four different sizes and capacity of concrete water trough, three of which
are rectangular in shape the other is the large circular type.
All troughs are designed with a service box at one end with a removable lid for easy access to
the filling mechanism.
The smallest of our concrete troughs has been redesigned with smooth rounded corners and
an inset lid on the service box to prevent it being dislodged by livestock.
Each trough is cast with a small hole in the bottom, for which a bung is supplied, for easy
emptying.

We are able to offer the option of supplying our Prestressed Bay Wall Panels with an
Exposed Aggregate finish instead of the smooth concrete finish commonly produced.
The Exposed Aggregate finish is produced by spraying the mould before pouring the concrete,
with an anti setting solution, this stops the concrete that is touching the mould surface from
‘going off’.
Once the panels are removed from the bed the panel surface is pressure washed off leaving
the stone in the concrete exposed.
The finish of these panels is popular in some planning sensitive areas and have on occasions
been approved as an alternative to building walls being stone faced to hide the smooth
concrete finish of the standard panels.
Not only do the panels look good but they are a cheaper and quicker alternative to block
work and stone facing.
Please ask for more details.

These precast reinforced Box Culverts are available in a range of different sizes.
Each culvert is cast with four lifting sockets in one side for lifting and fitting
The culverts have a rebate cast into each end so that each section can be slotted together end to end and sealed with mastic to give a leak free structure.
These Box Culverts were originally developed for a railway company who used the
sections to protect a river embankment from collapse whilst working above on the railway
line. The culverts were set in to the river so as to avoid interruption to the water flow that
may have resulted in damage to the environment.
Other uses of the Box Culverts include: Bridges across rivers and streams, Underpasses, they
are also suitable for underground storage tanks.
