The Caddy:a professional four times over.

Thanks to its state-of-the-art generation of fuel-effi-

cient engines, the Caddy is a true professional in

reducing your operating costs. The wide sliding door and

the intelligent tail end solutions simplify loading. It

also sets high standards in terms of safety, for example

with standard driver, front passenger and side/head

airbags. Its distinctive design exudes even more robust-

ness, quality and reliability. And in the interior the

high-quality cockpit and clearly thought-out storage

system ensure that you are always relaxed and

05The Commercial Vehicles – The Caddy

The level load compartment has a load capacity of 3.2 m3, which can be extended to 3.7 m3 with the help of the optional Flex Plus seat package. A completely metal-cladded tailgate with soft touch closing system and a windowless, roof-height sliding door on the front passenger side come as standard. Rear wing doors and a second sliding door on the driver’s side are available on request. With three load compartment floors, four different partition walls and a variety of lashing options, the Caddy Delivery Van's functionality is unequalled.

It enhances all advantages of the Caddy Delivery Van with the addition of up to 31 % more loading space. With a total loading length of 3.07 m, the loading capacity amounts to 4.2 m3, which can be expanded to 4.7 m3 with the optional Flex Plus seat package. With an optional payload of up to 1,020 kg1), the Caddy Maxi Delivery Van is a leader in its class. In addition, it can tow a braked towing capacity of up to 1,500 kg.

The hard-wearing interior can be extended from five to an optional of seven seats upon request, but can also be converted into a 2-seater delivery van with a 3.2 m3 load compartment. This can be done by removing the 3-seater bench seat, which consists of a separately folding and double-folding single seat and 2-seater bench seat. The tailgate has large glass windows as standard. An adjustable partition grille and a folding front passenger seat with a load-through facility are available upon request.

It enhances all advantages of the new Caddy Kombi with an extra-large 340 l load compartment.2) A maximum variability is offered by the multifunctional 3-seater bench seat. It can be partially folded, folded or double-folded from ⅔ to ⅓ or completely removed, which results in a 4,130 l level load compartment. An additional 2-seater bench seat and a sliding door on the driver side are available upon request. Three-point seatbelts and specially contoured and patented headrests on all seats provide the necessary level of safety.

With up to 9.3 m3, the Transporter also has the largest

load compartment volume in its class. Another unique

feature is the drive concept of 4MOTION all-wheel

Ten tail-end solutions, two wheelbases and three roof variants enable custom-fit solutions with a load com-partment volume of 5.8 to 9.3 m3 and a possible payload of up to 1.4 t. Well thought-out solutions for load security include hard-wearing floors, lashing rails and partition walls upon request. Depending on the wheel-base, the load compartment is fitted with six or eight adjustable lashing eyes for securing goods using tensioning straps.

The Transporter Delivery Van.

The most variable passenger compartment in its class with 17 seating packages and space for up to nine persons is accessible upon request via two electric sliding doors, one on the front passenger side and one on the driver side. Depending on the seating package selected, the Easy Entry1) function in the second row of seats enables comfortable access to the third row of seats.

It is the ideal mix of the Delivery Van and the Kombi, is fitted with a maximum of six seats and, with a 4.4 m3 load compartment, it has enough space for two euro palettes. A high partition wall protects the bright passenger compartment from the load compartment. In total, you have a choice of two wheelbases, seats for five or six people, and also two equipment lines.

The perfect shuttle is available not only in two wheelbases, but also in three equipment lines for even more exclusiveness. While the Caravelle Trendline and the Caravelle Comfortline meet the highest demands of passengers, the Caravelle Highline raises the bar even higher. The standard BlueMotion Technology ensures impressive efficiency for all models.

It has a maximum payload of 1,243 kg and offers the ideal package for every requirements profile with two cabs, two wheelbases, four seat combinations and four load platforms up to 5.7m2. In addition, lashing eyes in the flatbed ensure high load security.

With the help of standardised mounting points on the extremely robust hat-shaped profile frame, it allows a payload of up to 1,608 kg for a variety of bodies. The Transporter is also available as a tractor head with a total weight of up to 3.5 t2) that can be combined with special chassis from diverse manufacturers.

The new Amarok: sets standards in its class.

Some regard it as a pure commercial vehicle. Yet the

new Amarok is far more than just that: an uncompro-

mising premium pickup not only designed for heavy

duty work, but also for the well-earned hours after

work. Even its masculine design expresses the power it

contains. Driven by up to 165 kW strong V6 3.0 l TDI

engines, this all-rounder delivers a torque of up to

550 Nm. On difficult terrain it is also distinguished by

its high off-road safety – thanks to the 4MOTION all-

wheel drive, off-road ABS and the Hill Descent Assist.

Its rigid ladder frame combined with robust leaf springs create an extra-high payload, making the vehicle the new all-rounder for every purpose. The new Amarok offers premium driving comfort, yet still plenty of space for your tools and important documents. It features a high-quality dash panel with a large storage compartment and a 12 V socket. A leather-covered multifunction steering wheel, Servotronic function and cruise control system guarantee ultimate driving comfort; as do the “Climatic” air conditioning system and “Composition Audio” radio system plus Bluetooth. A painted front bumper and 17-inch “Posadas” alloy wheels complement the new Amarok Comfortline’s powerful appearance.

Looking for even more exclusive details for outdoor enthusiasts and people who like to stand out from the crowd – meet the new Amarok Highline. It is available with three roof heights and three wheelbases and the front-wheel drive version is the first vehicle to come with a 100 mm lower loading sill and a load compartment volume of up to 18.4 m3.5) To make sure that your cargo always arrives safely, you can choose between four partition walls, three floor variants and various lashing options for the load compartment. Upon request, wing doors with an opening angle of up to 270° and two side sliding doors with an opening width of 1,311 mm and a loading width of 1,269 mm make the vehicle easier to load.

Best loadability.The new Crafter Delivery Van has the largest load compartment height, reaching up to 2,196 mm. It also offers an opening width of 1,311 mm and a loading width of 1,269 mm through the sliding doors, while the new front-wheel drive comes with a 100 mm lower loading sill1) for the first time. Best load securing options.The new Crafter Delivery Van is the only vehicle to come with a factory fitted universal floor6), a new interior roof rack2) and the largest selection of built-in lashing eyes.

Chassis preparation for shelving systems.Numerous hexagonal perforations above and below the windows make it easier to install shelves and cup-boards.

In conjunction with a spacious double cabin8), you can enjoy the new Crafter Dropside Van with a robust load platform of up to 7.1 m2. Upon request, you can add lockable storage boxes for your tools and materials that fit either underneath or on top of the load platform. The double cab comes with an optional front passenger seat bench in a standard or deluxe design including a storage compartment and folding centre armrest. This enables you to transport up to seven people in comfort.

4-seater bench seat in the second row of seats.The double cab offers two individual seats in the front and a large 4-person bench in the rear as standard. If the driver’s cab is also equipped with a double seat bench for front passengers2), you can transport seven people at once.

Stow and lash.No matter what you wish to transport with the Crafter Dropside Van: it will be stowed away safely. As well as a ladder carrier2), you can also opt for robust storage boxes under the load platform2), a lockable storage box on the platform2) and eight lashing eyes for securing your cargo. Tools that you want to keep within easy reach can be stored conveniently under the 4-seat bench.

Reduce consumption with BlueMotion Technology.

BlueMotion Technology makes an important contribu-

tion to Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ low con-

sumption figures and is already fitted as standard in all

models with Euro 6 or Euro VI engines. Like all other

models, the new Crafter and new Amarok are equipped

with features like a start/stop system. Regenerative

braking and roll resistance-optimised tyres also reduce

emissions in the Caddy, Transporter and Caravelle

additionally. Furthermore, the Caddy and Transporter

each have a separate BlueMotion model. Thanks to

the intelligent interplay of engine, trans mission, aero-

dynamics and tyres, these BlueMotion models are

the most fuel-efficient in their ranges.

With a Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle you have the

ideal companion for mastering the most challenging

routes with ease. The optional 4MOTION permanent

all-wheel drive distributes the torque between the

front and rear axle to all four wheels as needed. The

result: perfect hold on the road, no matter what

surface. In the case of the Caddy, Transporter and

Caravelle, the combination of 4MOTION all-wheel drive
