What’s in a name? What’s in a theme?

oThemes are ideas conveyed by the visual experience as a whole.

In the visual arts, a theme is a broad idea or amessage conveyed by work done in a visualexperience, such as a performance, a painting, or aMotion picture. Themes are the fundamental andusually universal ideas explored in a work. Themed conferences are organized around a particular topic.

Building Internal Momentum: We have some exciting ideas to build internal momentum for the conference within our Impact staff family and several include:•Regular updates about the conference in our weekly staff eNewsletter.•Having a countdown to the conference at HQ and on our web site.•Creating registration incentives for staff registering and recruiting others to register. •Engaging staff to create conference devotionals shared at www.impact2010.com and via Constant Contact.•Having staff share what conference changed their life.
