winning applicants for the Francis Kuailani scholarships, one of which is the winner of the HRYF scholarship and the other is a young lady from Honoka’a who wants to pursue a career as a pediatrician. For our Arts Scholarship, the winning applicant is a student from Kealakehe who will be pursuing a degree in engineering. Congratulations to all of the students! March 25th is the annual District Assembly, which is going to be held at the West Hawai’i Civic Center. This is a great opportunity to meet your fellow Rotarians from the other West Hawai’i Clubs, and to learn more about this great organization that we belong to. Please see Dennis to confirm your attendance. NEXT WEDNESDAY, March 22nd, we will be participating in the weekly Meet N Eat at Kealakehe Middle School. There will be a sign up sheet at this week’s meeting - please consider joining us to serve dinner to those who depend on this weekly feeding. Congrats to Cheri Lavoie, who is heading off on a new adventure….more details next week!
