the qolben cuown The First Sovereign t9 circumnavigate the Earth was KALAKAUA, KING OF THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS. During his visit to Japan, meeting with Emperor Mutsuhito, a matrimonial alliance was proposed between Princess Kaiulani, niece and heir to the Throne of Hawaii and the Young Prince Komatsu of the Empire of Japan. The marriage never materialized, but many rare and beautiful gifts were exchanged. Of these, it is believed are the Crowned Lights in the Coconut Palace. Princess Kaiulani was the only Crown Princess in History ever to become an American Citizen, but who might have been an Empress.

the lotus Blossom The Lotus is a symbol of Buddhism. Buddha and Buddhist Saints are pictured as seated on the Lotus Flower. The wheel-like form of the blossom is also symbolic of perpetual cycles of existence. Legend tells of a Star that longed to be loved by earth children, and so allowed her beauty to dissolve into the ponds below and became a Lotus Blossom.
