BUILT FOR THE LONG HAUL

PROFITABLE For long distance transport a high payload is crucial. The XF105 chassis

combines low weight, for optimal payload, with a high level of stiffness and robustness. Air tanks and other

components are mounted on the inside of the chassis. This allows fuel tank capacities of up to 1,500 litres on

tractors, to take maximum advantage of driving range without the need to refuel.

STYLISH With its elegant appearance, the XF105 is the calling card for every transport operator.

It features numerous styling and aerodynamic refinements. These include a stylish lower grille, which extends

to the bumper, to channel maximum air to support engine performance. Thanks to ample space between

upper grille and large windscreen, there is plenty of room to put your company name.

An attractive exterior design and – last

but not least – a spacious interior for

highest driver comfort. The XF105 is

a top performer.

EFFICIENT The easily adjustable roof air deflector of the Space Cab ensures an optimal airflow

between tractor and semi-trailer. Aerodynamic skirts and fenders contribute to a further reduction in fuel

consumption. The same goes for the attractive Skylights (option) which are nicely integrated in the Super

Space Cab. Corner air deflectors guide the airflow along the cab sides in order to keep the door handles and

side windows clean.

VISIBLE The large windscreen and door

windows offer the driver an excellent view on the road.

The four electrically adjustable and heated mirrors

contribute to a large field of vision. They are optimally

sized and positioned. The driver can see between the

mirrors and A-pillar of the cab as well as between the

mirrors themselves. Good visibility adds to safety.

ROBUST Damage-free driving means

lower costs and maximum vehicle availability. The

steel bumper can take a knock and the headlights

are made of unbreakable Lexan. Also in the interior,

the materials and quality fit and finish guarantee long

life. It will look good and fresh, even after years of

intensive use. Important for high resale values.

SAFE The XF105 stands for safety. Cab and

chassis provide optimal passive safety. In addition,

the driver can rely on smart systems, also enhancing

comfort. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), which helps

to prevent jack-knifing and roll over is available as an

option for tractor chassis. The same goes for Adaptive

Cruise Control (ACC) which keeps the truck

automatically at the distance set from the vehicle in

front. DAF’s unique Night Lock (optional) effectively

protects against brake-ins and theft.

INFORMATIVE The central display on the dashboard presents all relevant information with

choice of 32 languages. To challenge the driver to the most efficient driving style, information on actual and

realised fuel consumption is given. Also information is available on trip duration, average speed and PTO hours.

Provision for a Fleet Management System is standard.

ERGONOMIC Ease of operation was given high priority during the development of the XF105.

The position behind the adjustable and multifunctional steering wheel is optimal. The dashboard is completely

designed around the driver. With a full view of the instruments and all controls within reach and exactly in the

ULTRA-SPACIOUS The Super Space Cab sets the standard in driver comfort.

The working and living space of 12.6 m3 and standing height of 2.25 m are unequalled. Just like the storage

space. No less than 675 litres of storage under the bed, with space for a large fridge in which litre bottles can

stand upright. The seats are multi adjustable and offer the highest level of comfort. As do the beds, which are

The DAF CF is the ultimate all-rounder. With a range of spacious and comfortable cabs. With two, three and four axles.

With single or double drive. And with a range of powerful, efficient and clean engines. For distribution, bulk or tank

transport or for heavy jobs in the construction industry.

ATTRACTIVE The design of the CF is stylish yet sturdy, with

a clear DAF family look. Corner air deflectors are fitted as standard to reduce the

effects of road spray, keeping side windows, mirrors and door handles clean.

For tractor versions, side-skirts are available for optimal aerodynamics and fuel

efficiency.

VERSATILE The CF is available as rigid and tractor. With one or two

front axles, pusher axles, steered leading or trailing rear axles. There is an axle

configuration to meet every demand. Components such as air tanks are mounted on

the inside of the chassis frame, leaving ample space for crane legs, twist locks or fuel

tanks. Making the CF the most versatile model in its class.

ACCESSIBLE Carefully positioned

illuminated steps, wide opening doors and a low cab

floor ensure easy cab entry and exit. Important for a

truck in this class, where drivers get in and out many

times a day. Three different cab variants are available:

Day Cab, Sleeper Cab and extra spacious Space Cab.

PREPARED Bodybuilder-friendliness

SPACIOUS The interior of the CF offers maximum space. This applies to the Day Cab, the Sleeper

Cab and the extra spacious Space Cab. The latest offers an interior space of no less than 11 m3 and a standing

height of 2.23 m. Unequalled in this class. As is the total storage space of approximately 900 litres. This includes

three large compartments above the windscreen with even space for a microwave. Under the bed an additional

660 litres of storage space is available and allows mounting of the optional fridge.

INFORMATIVE Like the XF105, the CF has a central display on the dashboard that provides

essential vehicle information in any of the 32 languages selected. To challenge the driver to the most efficient

driving style, extensive fuel consumption data is available. In addition to the four DIN slots in the header shelf,

three DIN slots are available in the dashboard. This allows easy installation of audio, navigation and/or camera

systems.

COMFORTABLE Comfort is written in capital letters. Application of high quality materials in

warm yet practical colours creates the best environment for the driver to work, live and sleep in. The comfortable

seats are multi-adjustable, just like the multi-functional steering wheel. This ensures an optimal driving position.

The superb beds make for a good night’s rest. An ‘Xtra Comfort’ mattress is available as an option for the

highest level of comfort.

PERFECT MATCH The CF offers

a wide selection of transmissions, for a perfect match

with the PACCAR engines. Manual, automated or fully

automatic, there is always a suitable gearbox. A manual

transmission comes as standard. AS Tronic gearboxes

are optionally available on all CF types. This automated

gearbox results in lower fuel consumption and enhanced

driver comfort. Special software programs are available to

optimally tune transmission characteristics to dedicated

applications, like heavy haulage or off-road. Fully

automatic transmissions are ideal for special applications,

such as fire or refuse trucks.

SOPHISTICATED The heart of the

CF driveline: ultramodern PACCAR engines. The 6.7 litre

GR, 9.2 litre PR and 12.9 litre MX engines combine high

performance with excellent fuel efficiency. They are

With outputs from 154 kW/210 hp to 375 kW/510 hp.

RELIABLE DAF’s range of single-reduction rear axles has an

excellent reputation for long service life, high level of reliability, and above all,

low internal resistance. This means less energy losses in the drive line resulting in

highest fuel economy. The wide range of rear axle ratios facilitates selecting

exactly the right drive line for each individual application. For demanding

applications, such as construction vehicles, the CF can also be supplied with the

heavy-duty DAF HR 1356 hub reduction axle or the HR 1355T dual-drive tandem

axle. These axles provide maximum torque to the wheels, important when highest

traction is required.

OPTIMISED The CF series can be optimally tuned for extra

heavy circumstances. The regular version, with the standard 152N (7,5t) front

axle, has an optimised loading height for normal on-road transport. In addition,

a high version is available for transport applications requiring extra ground

clearance. This can be achieved by specifying one of two available straight front

axles, the 156N (7,5t) or 186N (9,0t). Depending on tyre size, a ground clearance

up to 43 cm is possible. To further increase ground clearance, dedicated fuel

tanks with a reduced height of 580 mm are available.

The new LF Euro 5 offers everything you expect from a modern distribution truck. It is comfortable, light and agile. It provides

excellent accessibility and is distinguished by first class driving characteristics. The PACCAR four and six cylinder Euro 5

engines deliver optimum performance and highest fuel efficiency. In short: the LF is the perfect partner for distribution.

REPRESENTATIVE Robust and friendly at the same time.

The stylish look of the LF is characterised by its distinctive grille with chrome

panel and DAF logo, whilst leaving plenty of space for your company name.

ACCESSIBLE Intensive distribution transport means a lot of

Thanks to doors that open 90 degrees and a very low floor height of 89, 98 or

111 cm, depending on the version. Wide non-slip steps, carefully positioned

handgrips and convenient step courtesy lights make driver and co-driver

DURABLE What is beautiful should remain beautiful. The LF is

designed for the most intensive distribution work. By using the best materials and

high quality finishes, it will still look perfect after years of intensive use. Pleasant

for the driver, good for the resale value.

SAFE The LF is equipped with various safety and driver support

systems. Besides a fully electronically controlled EBS system (Electronic

Braking System) a driver airbag, in combination with belt tensioners on both

seats, is optionally available. The lighting of the LF also contributes to safety.

The headlight units are available with LED daytime running lights (optional).

Making the LF more visible for other road users during day time hours.

VISIBILE Good visibility for the driver is essential. Especially in an

urban environment. The LF provides an unobstructed view to the front and sides.

Optional Cornering Lights, integrated into the front bumper, shine in the direction

COMFORTABLE A relaxed driver is a better driver. That is why DAF paid so much attention

to the development of the LF’s interior. The ideal workplace with the same high quality standards as the entire

DAF range. The dashboard is entirely new; it is as beautiful as it is complete. All controls are within easy reach

and grouped logically by function. Every driver immediately feels at home in the new LF. And the extra-large

capacity heating and ventilation system ensures that the interior is always quick to reach the required

temperature. Comfortable when frequently getting in and out.

SPACIOUS The LF offers many storage options: a large, lockable compartment on the engine

tunnel and tray on the lid, pockets in the door panels, a storage net on the rear wall and two large compartments

above the windscreen. That is also where the four DIN slots are located for fitting, among others, the digital

tachograph. The extended day and sleeper cabs have, as standard, three additional lockable storage bins

behind the seats, one of 23 litres and two of 39 litres. On the driver’s side of versions with the automatic

AS Tronic gearbox there is even a storage box on the dashboard, useful, for example, for delivery notes.

HANDY Controls for operating the cruise control, engine brake, radio and the optional Truck Phone

system are integrated in the adjustable multifunctional steering wheel. The dashboard has a 12-volt socket and

a double DIN slot that is suitable for, amongst others, the optional Truck Navigation Radio. In the console over

the engine tunnel, there is a USB connector and a 24-volt socket. Ideal for connecting a smartphone, tablet,

laptop or MP3 player.

CUSTOMISED For the new LF a dedicated range

of engines and transmissions is available. Together they deliver

powerful performance and smooth acceleration, important with

frequent stop and go. The 4,5 litre four-cylinder PACCAR FR engine

with a power output of 152 kW/207 hp and the 6,7 litre six-cylinder

GR engine with outputs of 184 kW/250 hp and 210 kW/286 hp

form the heart of the LF driveline. Both Euro 5 engines are powerful,

efficient, reliable and durable. A six-speed manual gearbox comes

as standard. Both versions of the PACCAR GR engine can also be

combined with a nine-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed

automated AS Tronic gearbox.
