Herning Avenue Wasilla, AK 99654 Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, February 4: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You may apply for an Absentee By-Mail Ballot to be mailed to you. Absentee By-Mail Ballot requests must be received in the Office of the City Clerk by January 31, 2012. Contact the Office of the Wasilla City Clerk at 907.373.9090 or visit our website at www.cityofwasilla. com/clerk for an application. POLLING PLACES AND PRECINCTS Polling places for the City of Wasilla are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. The City of Wasilla polling places are as follows: Precinct: 14-075, Wasilla I--Wasilla City Hall, 290 E. Herning Avenue, Wasilla Precinct: 14-080, Wasilla II--Floyd D. Smith Senior Center, 1301 S. Century Circle, Wasilla Electioneering Prohibited: During the hours the polls are open, no person who is in the polling place or within 200 feet of any entrance of the polling place may attempt to persuade a person to vote for or against a candidate, proposition or question, nor may any person conduct other political activities that may pertain to any future election or potential ballot proposition. SPECIAL ASSISTANCE If you or someone you know requires special assistance in voting due to a disability or bilingual need, please contact the Wasilla City Clerk’s Office at least 24 hours before the time of casting ballots so that arrangements may be made to assist the voter.
