News 12 • 16 • 2016 2 On May 28, 2016 the Millard South family welcomed tech guy Dylan Chrislip. Chrislip grew up in Fremont and then attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Before getting a degree, he transferred to the Univer- sity of South Florida where some of his family lived. When in Florida, Chrislip wanted to be a professional golfer at a clubhouse. He was in the PGA profes- sional golf management university program at both colleges but along the way decided that his desired career changed.  Instead of finishing school, Chrislip decided to go right into the workforce. Without a degree in his field, he had to learn on the job and teach himself. He worked at a computer repair shop which he intended to use as a step- ping stone to a career in computer science. Once he heard there was an opening at Millard South, he jumped at the opportunity. “I can see myself having a full career here,” Chrislip said. Chrislip is a tech special- ist and repairs hardware. His favorite part about his job is sharing his knowledge of hardware with students and staff. In Chrislip’s free time, he enjoys to play video games. “I’m a true nerd at heart,” Chrislip said. “My favorite game is World of War- craſt,” He actually met his wife through the game. On May 28, 2016 the Millard South family welcomed tech guy Dylan Chrislip. Chrislip grew up in Fremont and then attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
