Dedication of The Church of The Welsh Martyrs: The Official DEDICATION of the CHURCH of the WELSH MARTYRS took
place on the FEAST DAY of the SIX WELSH MARTYRS on Thursday 25th October 2018, at 6:00pm. It was a very special moment in the
history of our Parish and our town! It was graced by a church full to its capacity, with all those who longed for this glorious moment
along with 16 priests and four bishops. In the Parish of Aberystwyth, we had a mass centre named after the six Welsh Martyrs: St
Richard Gwyn, St John Jones, St John Roberts, St Philip Evans, St John Lloyd and St David Lewis. This mass centre has been canonically
and officially dedicated and named “THE CHURCH & THE PARISH OF THE WELSH MARTYRS.” It has been officially erected as the Parish
Church of Aberystwyth in accordance with Canon Law. It will henceforth become a beacon of hope for the future, a focus for our prayer
and worship, and a fitting place for baptisms, weddings and funerals… THE SANCTUARY LAMP IS LIT…

prospective ADULT converts to Catholicism. For RCIA
Candidates, it is a period of reflection, prayer,
instruction, discernment, and formation. Those who
enter the process are expected to begin attending Holy
Mass on a Sunday, attend a weekly RCIA session, and to
become increasingly involved in the activities of their
local parish. We are glad to have some candidates who
