The children and staff here at Kiddie Junction celebrated the 4th of July festivities wearing their best red, white and blue attire to school on Tuesday July 5, 2016. The children participated in ac-tivities and a special craft per-taining to the 4th of July. How

many items can you name that are red, white and or blue?

Each month we will be providing an update on the particular month’s lesson plans, their themes and planned projects. This will better per-mit you to be a part of the learning process, reinforce the lessons and learning, and be aware of the marvelous projects that will be adorning your refrigerator. The upcoming themes include:

The tours at Johnson’s Farm encompass more than just a trip to the farm. They have found a way to create a vari-ety of fun-packed “hands-on” educational activities for the children that stimu-late all five senses. The children got to see how corn, blueberries and peaches grow. The chil-dren touched and feel the leaves as they harvest the produce. The smells and sounds were in the air for all to enjoy. When the children are done farming they had the opportunity to feed the animals! The billy goats and other animals were patiently waiting for the snacks the children had to offer.

will introduce you to a staff person who may or may not be

your child’s teacher, but you have seen around the school.

You will be able to tell through this spotlight, that we are

extremely proud of our staff and the care they provide on a

daily basis.

My name is Tamika Hill and I've been in the Kiddie Junction

family for 9 years. I care for the infants and toddlers in the Cud-

dly Caboose Class in the Berlin Center. Over the years I have

taught the twos and Pre-K, but I love teaching the babies the

most. I can watch them grow over the years and see the things

that they learned from me.

In my free time I love collecting Hello Kitty Memorabilia. I

have collected so much that my boyfriend has told me I can't

have anymore. I also love spending my time with family and

friends. But my most favorite thing is fishing. I have just started

to learn, and am not a "pro" yet but I have caught fish. The only

thing I need to learn to do is to take the fish off the hook.
