• Hormones get too high (Cortisol,

testosterone)

• Imbalance of hormones (PCOS)

Page 5: The Chin Whisker Whisperer

Facial Hair

• Hair on cheeks

• Hair on chin

• White wispy hair

Page 6: The Chin Whisker Whisperer

Eyebrows

Women and men with declining hormones can

develop Hertoghe’s Syndrome: a thinning or loss of

the outer third of the eyebrows, and is a sign of

hypothyroidism.

Page 7: The Chin Whisker Whisperer

Stress & Hair

• Increase in stress effects hair in a way that if cortisol gets too high in order to manage her estrogen.

• Estrogen deficiency is one of the biggest causes of hair loss. If cortisol gets too high, it takes over all hormones, including estrogen, until out of “fight or flight” mode.

• For most women, they’re in a constant state of “fight or flight”.

Estrogen Deficiency & Hair

If estrogen is low, the hair on the scalp

will begin to thin and fall out. When

estrogen gets too low, it aggravates any

stress responses a woman may have.

Page 9: The Chin Whisker Whisperer

One of the prime directives of estradiol in a

woman is to optimize beauty and health. It

helps maintain an anabolic growth on hair

follicles on the head as well as block

testosterone affects on the skin so that she

doesn’t develop superficial hair growth on the

face, chin, chest, and other parts of her body.

Lab Testing for Hair

• Estradiol

• FSH

• Progesterone

• LH

• TSH

• Free T3

• Testosterone

• Testosterone Free

• Testosterone Bioavailable

• SHBG

Thyroid

• Along with estrogen, thyroid is in rhythm with a

woman’s cycle

• TSH-Thyroid Stimulating Hormones

• When estradiol is down, TSH is up

• Large reference range .50-4.5

Free T3

It is the most active form of the different thyroid hormones in the body.

It is the principal thyroid hormone that makes all of the thyroid

functions in the body. If the free T3 is low, nothing in your body will

function correctly. Your brain won't function optimally, your

cardiovascular system won't be healthy, your kidneys won’t work

optimally, your liver won't work optimally, your immune system won't

operate correctly, your gastrointestinal system won't work correctly.

Your skin will be dry, your hair and nails brittle, your vision dull. You’ll

be tired, cold, and feel like you have brain fog, have dry itchy skin, be

constipated, feel cold when everybody else is comfortable.

Free T3 (cont.)

With low T3 a person will also be depressed, fatigue, anxious, and

can't sleep. And yet it is perhaps the most neglected blood test and lab

value in all of medicine. It turns out that estradiol level is perhaps the

most important lab test for predicting future and current chronic

health problems that we could order and yet it's almost never ordered

on women. Mainly because the significance of estrogen in women is

downplayed and not generally recognized as important.

Zinc

Hypothyroidism is a common and well recognized cause

of diffuse hair loss. Zinc and other trace elements such as

copper and selenium are required for the synthesis of

thyroid hormones, and deficiency of these can result in

hypothyroidism. Thyroid hormones are essential for

absorption of zinc, and hence hypothyroidism can result in

acquired zinc deficiency.

RegeneMax™ provides ch-OSA® (choline-stabilized orthosilicic acid), that helps naturally nourish your body’s beauty proteins. Regular orthosilicic acid is highly unstable, leading it to form polymers. These polymers are too large for the human body to absorb. But the patented “choline stabilization” technology in RegeneMax prevents the polymers from forming, ensuring optimal absorption. RegeneMax has been formulated with clinically proven ch-OSA for your assurance.

support these functions by helping to

maintain normal levels of melatonin in the

body.

Hormone Protect™ is an ideal combination of DIM (diindolylmethane) and SGS™ (glucoraphanin) that helps protect estrogen-sensitive tissues by promoting healthy estrogen metabolism and supporting detoxification and neutralization of harmful estrogen metabolites and xenoestrogens.

Page 33: The Chin Whisker Whisperer

ProbioMax DDS™ is a chewable probiotic designed to activate in the oral cavity for support of healthy teeth and gums.

As you chew it releases the safe and powerful DDS-18™ strain of Streptococcus salivarius—a beneficial bacterium that normally occurs in a healthy oral cavity. S salivarius DDS-18 then attaches to cells in the oral cavity and colonizes, positively affecting the bacterial population therein and naturally defending the teeth and gums.
