    Franciscan Renewal CenterDear Friends:

Thank you or your prayer, participation and continued support as we begin a new year of Youth and Young Adult

Ministries here at the Casa. The time has come again...We are rapidly approaching the kick off of the new year for our Youth & Young Adult ministries here at the Casa. These programs are OUR ministries...and I want to share with you a few of the great blessings these ministries

have brought to our community and, with your support, will continue to bring to us in the future. The Youth and Young Adult ministries at the Casa kicked off in January with close to 100 teens from 3 different

churches getting together for a social event unlike any other. Laser tag, video games, pizza and prayer! This was a

wonderful start to our ministry and a great way to show off the Renewal Center. From the excitement of that night

we had close to 30 Middle and High School students get involved in the regular meetings at the Casa!

Then during this past Lent, we launched our Young Adult program, Solomon's Porch. This program is acollaborative effort with neighboring churches to bring together those between the ages of 18-35ish for a Bible

study that looks at the scriptures for the upcoming Sunday liturgy, and a time to share their faith and life with a

    community their own age.

Also, during Lent, we launched In Presenza Di. This has become a beautiful time of prayer for all who attend.Facilitated by the Solomon's Porch young adult group for EVERYONE. In Presenza Di is a time of adoration, prayer, praise, and teaching, all in the presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

In March we took 10 high school teens up to Prescott to join teens from Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a

retreat. This retreat was a wonderful time of prayer and grace. Every one of the teens who attended came back

with a deeper faith and a stronger desire to share that faith with others.

These things could not have occurred without YOU! Please continue to pray for OUR ministries. Beyond prayer,

there are many other ways you can get involved with the Youth. If you feel called to help in anyway, please contact

us and we will get you involved!

We need your continued support as we look to the future.

This year we have 2 retreats for High School, 1 retreat for Middle School, regular weekly youth ministry meetings, weekly Solomon's Porch meetings, monthly In Presenza Di gatherings, a dinner dance, a return of the Januarymulti-church party on MLK weekend, and so much more!Again, I ask that everyone continue to pray for this new work here at the Franciscan Renewal Center. If you are in the age groups of the programs, we ask that you get involved. I promise, you will not be disappointed!

We just launched a new website, www.CasaYouth.org, and on it you will find news and information and also linksto all the forms you will need to fill out. Please get the forms to us because without them we won't be able to

accurately plan and serve as best as we can.

Thank you again for your support.

Middle & High School Semester started September 12. Middle and High School meetings will continue separately

every other week throughout the year.

Eve's DaughtersWomen on the journey, you are invited to explore

your spiritual path with Eve's Daughters, a very

hectic. How do you nurture yourself to stay centered

and maintain your connection to the Divine? This

gathering might just be a way for you to do

that. We come together to support one another on

the spiritual journey through story, song, ritual,

prayer and sharing. This is a "safe place" to explore

our spirituality as women, and to respectfully

express our passion and our growing pains. Our fall
