Booth Equipment

Each 10’ x 10’ booth will be set with 8’ high black back drape and 3’ high side dividers. Booths 300 sq. ft. or less will receive a 7” x 44” one-line identification sign. Booths larger than 300 sq. ft. may receive a 7” x 44” one-line identification sign upon request. Please contact your Customer Account Manager to request one.

Exhibit Hall Carpet

The exhibit hall is NOT carpeted. The aisles will be carpeted in black. All exhibitors are required to have floor covering. Rental carpet is available through The Expo Group. Please refer to the Carpet and Flooring form in this service manual.

IMPORTANT: A very carefully planned Move-In schedule for inbound exhibitor freight has been arranged for this year’s show. Exhibitors should pay attention to their assigned target date and time when scheduling delivery directly to the Convention Center. Dismantle The Expo Group will begin returning empty containers once aisle carpet has been removed from the floor. Aisle carpet removal should take 2 hours. Empty return should take 4 to 6 hours. All exhibitor material must be removed from the exhibit facility by Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10:00 am. Any materials remaining in the facility will be re-routed via The Expo Group’s choice. Excessive booth materials and/or literature left in the booth at the end of published exhibitor move-out that is not labeled for outbound shipment will be considered abandoned and deemed as trash. The exhibitor will be charged for the removal and disposal of these items. Charges may include Installation and Dismantle Labor, Forklift/ Rigging Labor and/or Dumpster Fees.

Power comes from overhead in the North Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center. All island booths will have a drop from overhead into their booth. Please indicate “main drop”

on your floor plan (closets and other areas where cords or distribution boxes can be concealed are good areas).

If you require a hardwire connection pre-schedule labor on the electrical order form. If you require 24 hour power, please confirm with your CAM. Each hardwall booth must be a minimum of nine (9) inches from the booth line for

access to electrical. Refer to Electrical Facts page for additional electrical information. It is Required that you complete the Electrical Questionnaire. All air, water and gas comes from the ceiling. Drains are located at various locations on the show floors, contact your CAM directly for

locations. Drains are gravity flow. A pump can be installed for a fee if gravity flow is insufficient. Standard drain size is ¾”. Booth layouts are required for drain outlets.

If peninsula or inline booth, drop will be placed at the back of the booth. If required at a specific location the line can be run under or above carpet or dropped at a specific location for additional labor costs. A booth layout is required.

If island booth, a booth layout with drop location(s) and any distribution locations will be required.

All booth layouts must include the drop location, final location if different from drop, surrounding booth numbers, exact measurements for all drops and floor work as well as the amount of CFM required at each air outlet.

Standard air pressure at LVCC is between 90-100 PSI or 7 Bar, if pressure is critical, it is recommended exhibitors arrange to have a pressure regulator installed.

Standard water pressure at LVCC is between 60-80 PSI, if pressure is critical, it is recommended exhibitors arrange to have a pressure regulator installed.

Standard gas pressure at LVCC is approximately 7” water column or ¼ lb PSI, if pressure is critical, it is recommended exhibitors arrange to have a pressure regulator installed.

Suspended Sign Tips

All Suspended Sign orders must be submitted with payment and completed paperwork no later than 30 days prior to the first day of Exhibitor move-in.

Please submit paperwork as early as possible. Although there is a 30 day deadline, the building engineers have an extensive approval process. Give yourself enough time to make revisions based on their regulations. Early approval is strongly recommended.

The Expo Group is required to assemble/disassemble, install/dismantle all hanging/suspended signs. Please order accordingly.

Final rigging drawings shall be submitted electronically in either a pdf or dwg format. All overhead suspended signs or banners are subject to approval and must conform

to show management and facility regulations. The Expo Group reserves the right to refuse to hang sign which is deemed unsafe. Assembly, installation and dismantling of hanging signs must be performed by the

General Services Contractor. Exhibitor is required to cancel labor at least two days prior to the date for which labor

was ordered. Otherwise a one hour “No-Show” charge will be billed to the exhibitor. Suspended Signs should be shipped to The Expo Group advance warehouse. Please

use the enclosed Suspended Sign shipping labels. Set-up instructions must be provided for signs requiring assembly. Hanging is a

separate charge. Signs requiring electricity must be in accordance with the National Electrical Code.

Please complete and return the Electrical form included in this manual. The Structural Integrity Statement must be signed and submitted. All weight loads requiring professional evaluation shall be sent to your CAM with

weight loads clearly marked on the plan. All hanging signs require approval. The booth layout, and associated rigging loads, shall be overlain onto the full rigging

plans and submitted as one complete file. Any changes made once submitted must be clouded, and clearly stated and

resubmitted for review. The point loads shall be shown on the booth layout plan at the point of hoist. The

distributed loads shall also be shown on each purlin/beam/truss that will be used as a point of attachment. Use leaders/arrows to indicate method of distribution to purlin/beam/truss.

Final rigging plans must be submitted to your CAM by October 11, 2021 and reviewed by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s Engineering Department.

Ensure that the overall rigging plan is done in accordance with the suspended load limits procedure as prepared by LVCVA’s structural engineering consultant. The weight load limits provided are not to be exceeded.

and signed scale tickets are required. Weight tickets must match tractor and trailer numbers. 3. Targeted shipments should check in at least 2 hours prior to appointed time. Material Handling 1. There are three basic fees for material handling that are categorized in the following ways:

a. Machinery – Machinery is defined as materials or items used to produce a desired good or task. These items can also include metal parts or separate pieces that once joined together to form a completed machine or piece of functioning equipment. These items can not be driven under their own power, or operate independently without a fuel cell or device to guide, steer or maneuver with out the aid of equipment or personnel on site. The special machinery rate only applies to shipments sent direct to show-site that exceed 5,000 lbs. in weight.

b. Freight – Freight is considered your booth properties, product, literature, and samples. This does not include any machinery placed within your booth.

c. Mobile handling – A mobile (car) or motorized piece of equipment (tractor, forklift, crane etc.) that requires guidance to their respective booth and can be driven to the booth under its own power.

2. When working on your budget, remember, there is a difference in the rate for Machinery vs Freight. Machinery rates are lower than Freight. Consider this in your budget planning.
