§  Enterprise IoT survey was conducted in August 2015 by Vanson Bourne, Ltd., a technology market research firm based in the UK

§  Respondents from 200 US and 100 UK IT decision-makers (IT managers, head of IT, IT directors, CIOs) from large enterprise organizations (1,000 or more employees)

§  Respondents are from enterprises within the private sector only, focusing on the following industries evenly: financial services; retail, transport and distribution; manufacturing, and any other commercial sector

Overall ranked business uses in 2015* 1.  The Internet of Things provides our organization with the opportunity to

better meet our business objectives in the next year (74% agree) 2.  Management of device connectivity to reduce operational costs is a

major priority in the next year (72% agree) 3.  Our organization's Internet of Things strategy gives us a competitive

advantage over our key competitors (71% agree) 4.  Our organization is equipped to oversee the collection, management

and storage of data from our device sensors (69% agree) 5.  Our organization is currently leveraging effective analytics to gain

visibility into IoT data (69% agree) 6.  Our organization primarily develops IoT and M2M applications in-house

(65% agree)
