Value Added Resellers

A value-added reseller (VAR) ... adds features to an existing product, then resells it (usually to end-users) as an integrated product or complete "turn-key" solution.

- Wikipedia

Value Added Resellers

combines [...] components to build complete systems. For example, a VAR might take a computer chip, printer, hard drive, monitor and graphics software from different vendors, put it together, and package it as a specialized computer-aided design system.

Acquia has many products - Id gladly stand here and talk about all of them, but Im only going to focus on one. In particular because it is a new solution for people who just want a website with some basic publishing and social features, and dont want to hire a Drupal developer to build it for them. I also want to talk about it because I think it creates some new opportunities for professionals like yourselves who build websites professionally.

What if there were an "App Store" for Drupal?
