Education in the 21st Century

“Teachers and students, co-intent on reality, are both Subjects, not only in the task of unveiling that reality, and thereby coming to know it

critically, but in the task of re-creating that knowledge. As they attain this knowledge of realityt through common reflection and action, they

discover themselves as its permanent re-creators” (Friere, 2010, p. 69).

• Provide Collaboration time for educators to work together to determine best practices for all students.

• Plan Family School Nights once a month to encourage families to work with the school in meeting the students’ educational needs.

• Work with the Boys & Girls Club to provide after school tutoring for all students.

• Continue to offer Sample WKCE testing each school year as well as add Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Testing twice a year.
