The Happy Hour Project

Feeling a little anxious about final exams? Want to take some time out to relax? Just have a love for playing with

animals? The UNSW Law Society proudly presents the second Happy Hour Project event for the semester - therapy dogs! On Monday of Week 13, three dogs and their trainers are going to be visiting UNSW at lunchtime to play and cuddle with law students.

Some of the dogs will also be performing tricks for your entertainment! Besides just being cute

and cuddly, dogs have been proven to help comfort people in stressful situations. Monday 3 June 13:00-14:00 Grass area in front of the Law Building, near the Main Walkway

Women’s Mentoring Program

The successful Women's Mentoring Program will again be run in 2013 in partnership with Herbert Smith Freehills. The program aims to match female identifying law students who are in the later stages of their degree with an inspirational female legal practitioner. Applications are now open with the launch taking place in early Semester 2. Preference will be given to students

in their final or penultimate year. All efforts will be made to appropriately match Mentees with Mentors in areas of specific interest to the student. Applications close Friday 14 June. If you have any questions about the program, please contact Jenna Mercer (Women's Officer) at [email protected].
