Rising Stars Childrens Center Babies have been practicing signing ABC & twinkle twinkle little star! They have
also made a new nature mobile. Adding a
drum has added a little music to the class
room.
Toddlers- have enjoyed singing head and
shoulders knees and toes and the iitty
bitty spider. Playing in the water table in
the park has been a lot of fun too !
Preschoolers new favorite song is icky sticky bubble gum. Miss Ashley has also
been teaching them all the months. The
preschoolers are also serving themselves
at lunch. Great work!
Please let us know your childs school schedule for kinders . If there are any changes in your child's schedule such
extra curricular events or days when they will not be attending the Before and
After School Care program September 21st PD Day The Before & After School Care will be dropping off our collected dentations to the St. Paul food bank at 11:00AM. Welcome back Tirion & Taelynn

2015 Boys & Girls Club Of St. Paul & District
We are collecting food, for the St. Paul Food Bank. Please send non perishable items (canned or dry goods). The Before & after school care will be delivering the donated food to the food bank
on September 21th, 2015
Please send 3 changes of clothes per day per child
All Vessey orders are due September 16th, 2015.
Has any of your personal information changes (phone numbers, address) ? Please updated your child file if any information has
been changed.
Walking school bus leaves the club at 8:00 AM. Please have your
children here before 8:00AM if you want to utilize this service.
Scholastic orders are due the last Thursday of every month
(Sept 24th)

us know if they are attending in the morning or
afternoon.
The Babies, Toddler and Preschoolers have
been working so hard on their flowers in the
back park that the flowers will be coming inside
for the winter Great work you guys!

The school year is now in full swing. The
children seem very excited to be back in
school! We have received a donation of
joke books that seem to be a hit in the
classroom.
The kinders have been working on the
alphabet work books. Also the children
have been working on manners when
talking to their peers.
All the children were able to go to the
garden and harvest the caulirabbie
veggies.

Summer 2015 Menu
Note: This menu complies 100% with the Alberta Nutrition Guidelines for Children and Youth. Water is served throughout
the day. We use whole grain/wheat products. We try to reduce sodium level by making our soups & omitting processed foods.
(We do not serve processed foods, chocolate milk or liquid candy.) We do provide lactose free milk if required. On special
occasions a treat is offered to children some of the time and not considered part of their regular menu plan. All foods for
infants and babies are modified/pureed for their appropriate development needs and will be discussed with parents/guardians
to ensure daily dietary needs are met. We support breast feeding and will work with mother with scheduling, breast milk
storage, and space to accommodate nursing times.

We do cover meal expenses for our volunteers but we ask to keep within a $12(max) per person for meal/drink/snack budget. In the same way, the meals/snack/drink must be eaten while on shift at the hall and not packed to take home. Thank you for your cooperation!
