Sample: Chapter 1 The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas Maria’s packing: pp1-3 My father: pp4-5 Leaving Berlin: pp6-8 Our Berlin home: pp9-10
I have divided Chapter one into four smaller diary entries
Chapter 1 TBSPsample of a written diary entry for only part 1 of 4 parts Maria’s packing: pp1-3
After playing airplanes with Karl, Martin and Daniel, I was surprised to find Maria – our housemaid going through my clothes. “Excuse me, Maria, what are you doing with my things?”
Chapter 1 TBSPsample of a written diary entry for only part 1 of 4 parts Maria’s packing: pp1-3
Maria, didn’t say anything to me, she just pointed. Why do adults do that anyway – why is it acceptable for them to do that, but we need to look adults in the eyes and speak calmly. My eyes followed the direction Maria was pointing. She was pointing at mother. What does Maria packing my things, have to do with mother? I am going to find out….
