Day 1 Thur. Oct 13 Everyone will be meeting at the airport. We meet at MSP airport for our morning flight to NYC. Fly non-stop from Minneapolis to New York and be shuttled to our hotel, Row NYC in Times Square, our home for the next 4 nights. After getting settled in at the hotel, we will tour the famous Grand Central Terminal and return via Bryant Park. After dinner in the area, we go the Top of the Rock at Rockefel- ler Center to view NYC in all directions! Later we’ll stroll through Times Square, the world capital of glitz, for a leisurely evening to take in the brilliant neon lights, bustling crowds, ticker tape signs, and maybe pick up a late evening snack at one of the many cafes. Day 2 Fri. Oct 14 We’ll take a subway to Battery Park to board the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, for time to explore these symbols of America’s immigration heritage. Our return ferry takes us back to Battery Park on the southern tip of Manhattan Island, where we’ll begin a walking tour up Broadway through Bowling Green Park, see Wall Street’s famous “Bull”, walk down famous Wall Street to see the New York Stock Exchange and Federal Buildings, and then to Trinity Church. We’ll walk to the 911 Memorial, One World Trade Center and visit the newly opened 911 Memorial Museum. Next, we visit St. Paul’s Chapel, known as “the little chapel that stood” amidst the falling debris that fateful day. We’ll enjoy dinner at the Essex World Café on Liberty Street and go around the corner to see the bronze Fireman’s Memorial sculpture by Engine House #10. This evening we head to our first Broadway show, “Kinky Boots” in Times Square for an exciting evening of entertainment. YOUR BIG APPLE ADVENTURE INCLUDES Day 3 Sat. Oct 15 This morning we go to Rocke-feller Center to enjoy a tour of the newly reopened NBC Studio Tours. Enjoy lunch on your own at Rock-efeller Court before we board our open-air double-decker Sightseeing Tour bus for an exciting afternoon tour of Uptown Manhattan. We’ll experience the Upper West Side, stop at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, past Grant’s Tomb, through Harlem, past Museum Mile along 5th avenue. Later we take a stroll through Central Park. See the Conservatory pond with miniature sail boats, beautiful Bethesda Fountain, the Bow Bridge, have supper at the Loeh’s Boat House Express Café. There’s time to rent a paddle boat and paddle around the scenic pond. Later we walk to Strawberry Fields, Yoko Ono’s tribute to her beloved John Lennon.

Day 4 Sun. Oct 16 This morning we take a subway to lower Manhattan to go up the new One World Trade Observatory, an amazing view from atop this newly constructed building. At 100 floors up, you will see NYC like you’ve never before experienced it! You will have free time for exploration on your own to see some of your interests such as Radio City Music Hall tour, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Museum of Natural History, USS Intrepid tour, High Line in Chelsea, shopping and many more options. We will meet at the August Wilson Theatre for the afternoon matinee of “Jersey Boys” the musical treat that will have you singing and dancing in the aisles! After the show, we’ll head to Little Italy and Chinatown for shopping and supper at Puglia’s, a fun Italian restaurant. (D)

Day 5 Mon. Oct 17 This morning we are transport-ed to the airport for our flight home, filled with memo-ries of the sites and sounds of fascinating New York City.
