WHY CHOOSE BELLERBYS A LEVEL PROGRAMME? BELLERBYS A LEVEL

Bellerbys A LevelAll of the UK’s elite universities warmly welcome applications

We o er an extensive range of subjects taught over 1 or 2 years. Studying A Levels gives you the widest choice of universities in the UK –

Choosing to study A Levels requires an ongoing commitment to your studies and a high level of English language. At Bellerbys, we’re here to support you throughout your studies, from choosing the right programme length and start date to additional language classes and in-class teacher support .

2-year A Level (6 terms Brighton and London)Start in September and choose three or four subjects based on your interests and the degree you wish to study, as well as IELTS English if you require it. You’ll take an internal assessment at the end of your fi rst year to ensure you are on track. A§ er this, you’ll continue with your chosen subjects into your second year and complete your fi nal exams at the end of your programme.

2-year international A Level (6 terms Cambridge)A great choice for science students wishing to take their AS exams, which account for 50% of the A Level, midway through their course. This option is governed by Cambridge Assessment International Education, which is part of the University of Cambridge. You’ll start your studies in September and sit AS exams in June or November at the end of your fi rst year with fi nal exams at the end of year two.

18-month A Level (5 terms)Start in either January or April – making this a good option for those unable to start their A Level programme in September. You’ll study three subjects, as well as English language if required, over the fi ve terms of study. The fi rst two terms of this programme are an intensive course of study. You’ll benefi t from an internal assessment (AS exam for international A Levels) at the end of your fi rst year, before si ing your o cial exams at the end of year two.

1-year A Level (3 terms)Our most intensive A Level programme, this is the typical full A Level programme studied in just one year. It’s a good option if you have studied A Level before and are looking to improve your grades. The 1-year A Level is only available at Bellerbys Brighton.

A2 A Level entry (3 terms)Only available at Bellerbys Cambridge, this is a good option of study for those who have already studied AS Level CIE (Cambridge International A Level) and achieved a minimum of three B grades or above, as well as an IELTS of at least 6.0 (or equivalent). Prospective students will have an interview with the Principal of Bellerbys Cambridge to see if you have the right educational background to complete the programme over three terms. This programme is governed by the Cambridge Assessment International Education, part of the University of Cambridge.

You’ll have two dedicated hours each week to help with your university application, including interview practice and personal statement writing. Preparing for university doesn’t just happen inside the classroom – at Bellerbys we’ll support you every step of the way.
