Title of the poem:-The Bapu of Africa

Rounded specs, bright eyes,a smile in the lips, that never liesheaded he towards that countrywhere the coloureds were not at all free.Apartheid was practised in and outon the coloureds the whites did shouthe went there to be a successful barristerbut was taken aback at the sight of torture.Leaving his law-suit behindhe came forward with a thought in mind,the thought was to launch a fightone on which none had ever caught a sight.Afraid of none he marched aheada number of people he did ledto them he gave a special swordabout which one had never heardIt was the sword of non-violencethat totally broke the sinister silenceCivil Disobedience the movement was namedand even the toughest then were tamed.For the bapu we can saythe foundation of freedom he did laythe seed of freedom he did sowto him the whole South Africa bows.As I completed writing I sighedmaybe theres a boy in Africa whos my look alikeand maybe hes thinking I am lucky to be freeand its all because of my beloved Gandhiji.
