Roe Memorial Events, January 16, 2016: Join Bishop Farrell and thousands of North Texas faithful in marking the 43rd anniversary of the tragic January 22, 1973 Roe v. Wade U.S. Supreme Court deci-sion, which made abortion available on demand in America. The theme of this year’s events is “SPEAK LIFE to this present dark-ness” and the schedule of events is as follows:

Eventos Conmemorativos Roe, 16 de enero del

2016: Acompañe al Obispos Farrell y a miles de fieles del Norte de

Texas en el 43vo aniversario de la trágica decisión tomada por la Cor-te Suprema de los Estados Unidos que legalizó el aborto en los Esta-dos Unidos, Roe v. Wade. El tema de eventos de este año es “HABLALE de VIDA a la oscuridad actual” con el siguiente progra-ma de eventos:

10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Rosarios Conmemorativos Roe frente al centro de abortos Southwestern, 8616 Greenville Ave, Da-llas (estacionamiento disponible en Boundbrook Ave., en la esquina de Greenville y Royal Ln. y en estacionamiento de Iglesia Bautista Gaston Oaks) y Centro de Abortos Planned Parenthood, 7989 West Virginia Dr., Dallas (estacionamiento disponible en la calle).

11:30 a.m. Concierto por la Vida en el Centro de Convenciones KBH de Dallas, 650 S. Griffin St. (las puertas se abren a las 11:15 a.m.), con Vince Lujan y Manuel Bravo de Jesús Te Ama, Tori Harris, The Crossroads Pursuit y Tom Grossman de Communities of Prayer.

12:30 p.m. Procesión Conmemorativa Roe de Rosas: Un representante nacido cada año desde 1973 al presente llevará una rosa en la “Procesión de Rosas” anual antes de la Misa.

1:00 p.m. Misa Conmemorativa Roe Bilingüe celebrada por el Obispo Kevin Farrell, concelebrada por los Obispos Michael Olson y Douglas Deshotel, el Padre Abad Peter Verhalen, O.Cist. y miembros del clero diocesano en el Centro de Convenciones KBH de Dallas (¡con capacidad para 9,000 personas!) con el Padre Edwin Leonard como homilista.

3:00 p.m. Marcha por la Vida y Manifestación del Norte

de Texas desde el Centro de Convenciones (después de la Misa) hacia la manifestación ecuménica frente al Edificio de la Corte Fede-ral Earle Cabell con el Obispo Kevin Farrell, el Dr. Tony Evans de la Iglesia Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, Mariana Schroeder de Respeto a La Vida de Fort Worth (en español) y Jewels Green, exempleada de un centro de abortos.

¡El Obispo Farrell desea que tantas familias y jóvenes como sea posi-ble participen en este gran testimonio por la Vida! Se exhorta a todos los participantes a utilizar DART - el medio de transporte más conve-niente que le llevará directamente hasta la estación del Centro de Convenciones.
