Welcome to our first BAM Group Quarterly Update. This coincides with a tremendously exciting period for the BAM Group as you

will see.

We have recently moved our headquarters on the Gold Coast to a state of the art facility which will position us for growth in the years to come and allow us to better service our clients and businesses.

The move came at a time when we made an exciting announcement with Malaysian car manufacturer, PROTON. To manage all of Proton Cars Australia’s PR, sponsorship leverage, product launches and video content is a welcome appointment for the BAM Group.

It also provides an entree for the group into Asia and further strengthens links between the Gold Coast and Malaysia, both destinations that are fortunate enough to be serviced by one of Asia’s leading low cost carrier airlines, AirAsiaX.

We have started a new brand in the form of JobStop. JobStop is the BAM Group’s recruitment website. We urge you to contact your HR department to take advantage of JobStop - it is free and draws a significant audience from our racing website, Speedcafe.com.

Our digital department continues to go from strength to strength, with the launch of a brand new website for our client, The Grand Golf Club - one of Australia’s leading private golf courses. We have also inked an arrangement with iconic motoring additives brand STP to re-design their website in Australia.

Also from our digital team has been the launch of the BAM Group’s first bespoke smartphone optimised application.

Developed for Speedcafe, the Trivia App, Driven by PROTON is a challenge for even the most hardened motorsport aficionado. Jump onto the iTunes App Store or the Google Play Store and download it for free...see if you can beat my score!

BAM Vision is another one of the true strengths of our business, recently signing Renault Australia to complete their Video News Release work around the Australian Rally Championship.

On the other side of the business, Speedcafe’s strong year continues. In the 12 months to June 30, the site attracted nearly 250,000 unique visitors from around the world, with almost 12 million page views being registered.

We’ve been saying it has been coming for a while, but it is safe to say that the times have changed folks...

Trust you enjoy the first edition of our quarterly update and that you will forward it to any associates that you feel may have an interest in our services.

All the best and thank you for those who continue to provide their loyal support.

Regards,

Brett ‘Crusher’ MurrayIdeas Engineer/CEO

The Armored Auto Group through its Armor All brand has had a long association with the BAM Group, but now it will extend through iconic automotive additives brand, STP. Just as we were going to press, a contract with the BAM Group’s digital department has been signed for STP’s website in Australia to be completely re-built.

STP is well known for it’s world renowned sky blue, red and white logo and partnership with the most successful NASCAR racer in history, Richard Petty.

In Australia, the brand is a co-naming rights sponsor with Pedder’s on the V8 Supercars official safety car.

In the States, STP retain a great relationship with the Petty name, whilst also being the naming rights sponsor of arguably the most gruelling motorsport competition in the world - the World of Outlaws STP Sprintcar Series and its 100 nights of competition annually.

PIRTEK’S TOP 200

The BAM Group is very sad to be farewelling our friend Nick Pritchard from his position as, Vice-President Australia for IRWIN Tools. Nick has become a great personal friend to many within the BAM Group throughout his time with IRWIN and their partnerships with Britek Motorsport, Stone Brothers Racing and now Erebus Motorsport. We have worked with Nick and the IRWIN team to develop what continues to be one of the most successful activation and media programs in V8 Supercars history. We could not have achieved that without Nick’s passion, vision and confidence.

NICK PRITCHARD DEPARTS IRWIN

STP COMES TO BAM

The BAM Group has been fortunate enough to work closely with IRWIN - part of the global Newell Rubbermaid Group - and assist it’s growth in the Australian and New Zealand markets through its, motorsport, corporate and product programs. That has also led to BAM North America teaming with IRWIN’S parent body in the US on several projects - including its successful NASCAR program. Many of our other clients have been able to work with IRWIN Tools across a variety of business-to-business opportunities through the hard work of Nick and his team. Nick is one the best brand men in the business and his passion for his profession, his employees, partners, friends and family sets an inspirational standard which ranks among the best we have had the pleasure of experiencing. We wish Nick all the best in his new role as CEO at Gale Pacific with the knowledge that he will always remain a personal friend of the BAM Group.

BAM Group client, Pirtek - Fluid Transfer Solutions has been ranked in the top 200 global franchise models by influential US publication, Entrepreneur Magazine.

Entrepreneur has ranked PIRTEK 64th out of the top 200 global franchises.

The ratings by Entrepreneur Magazine are generated around a formula that takes into account numerous elements to a company, including growth, financial strength and additional weightings around international size and growth.

The company was founded in 1980, so with 33 years under its belt is an incredibly young company when compared to many of the global franchise systems also ranked in the top 200.

Starting in Western Sydney, PIRTEK has grown to have over 400 outlets globally and is in 22 different countries, including the US, UK, Europe, NZ, China and even Mongolia.

The company underwent a re-structure earlier this year that saw General Manager, Stephen Dutton be appointed to the role of CEO, whilst out-going

CEO, Glenn Duncan will be focusing more on international expansion.

In further big news for PIRTEK, the company has signed a four year deal to become the naming rights partner to the trophy to be awarded to the team that accumulates the most points across the three V8 Supercars endurance races. The PIRTEK Enduro Cup sits across the Sandown 500, Bathurst 1000 and Armor All Gold Coast 600. BAM GROUP AND PROTON JOIN FORCESPROTON Cars has appointed BAM Media to manage its Public Relations and Media activities, as it continues to revamp its business and brand in Australia.

BAM Media will be responsible for all public and media relations, media collateral, sponsorship activation, product launches, video production, media events, as well controlling the national press fleet. PROTON Cars Australia’s PR will be managed by BAM Media’s Senior Client Manager, Mark Higgins, who has over two decades experience in the automotive and motorsport industries. PROTON Cars Australia have been importing and distributing PROTON motor vehicles since 1996 introducing the Persona, the Wira, the Proton GTI and Jumbuck.

PROTON Cars Australia Chief Operating Officer Kaye Amies said: “BAM comes to us with a huge amount of kudos in Motor Sport and Automotive, and we look forward to utilising their experience in public and media relations to prioritise the brand for our potential customers. We are very excited about this new relationship and working towards developing a totally new and unique outlook for PROTON in Australia”.

The announcement provides a huge step for the BAM Group and is the first real opportunity it has had to access the Asian market - one that everyone involved with the group hopes will lead to new business opportunities within the region.

The third Speedcafe Greenroom function in Townsville was once again a massive success with a huge contingent from the Australian motorsport industry turning out on the night.

The Mad Cow Tavern was once again the venue for the event that attracted over 800 party-goers. The Greenroom drew support from Cooper’s Brewery and Jim Beam who kept the party rocking until the wee hours.

The toast of the town was race winner Garth Tander and his team-mate James Courtney who struck back for HRT getting them into the winner’s circle once again.

Many representatives of other classes, including V8 Utes Champions, Carrera Cup racers, sponsors and fans mingled long into the night.

The next Speedcafe Greenroom will be held on the Gold Coast in support of the Armor All Gold Coast 600, with venue information to be released soon.

The BAM Group has moved its Gold Coast headquarters to a brand new location which will allow for a significant expansion of the group’s operations.

The two story, 500 square-metre facility in Helensvale is in a prime location adjacent to the M1 Motorway and sits around 40 minutes from South-East Queensland’s major airports, those being Coolangatta and Brisbane Airport.

“The unveiling of the new building is the start of a new chapter for the BAM Group,” said Chief Executive Officer, Brett Murray.

Staff of the BAM Group present and past came together on the Gold Coast to launch the new office space

NEW OFFICE TAKESTHE BAM GROUP AHEAD

“It coincides with the 25th anniversary of the business opening it’s doors. It gives us a fresh space to better service our loyal client base and welcome many new partners to the business.”

It allows the company to significantly expand its offering to clients and has the capability for clients to use the space as the hub for meetings, with a number of state level meetings already booked for the extensive Boardroom.

BAM Vision’s service offering will be able to expand significantly, which is in line with the exponential growth of companies developing their own branded content.

The Motorsport Report was conducted as a recent activity through Speedcafe and has generated the most comprehensive insight into how motorsport is consumed in Australia.

The 10 week survey generated over 6,000 responses, positioning the response rate on par with other major sporting surveys.

Given our broad readership base amongst motorsport enthusiasts, Speedcafe is able to gather specific, reliable and unmanipulated data. The report is currenlty the most targeted motorpsort specific report readily available to the market place.

It covers geographic and demographic information of the motorsport fans and is a “must have” resource for anyone with a touchpoint in the motorsport industry - competitors, categories and promoters alike.

For sponsors - both existing and potential - it gives a snapshot of where the mindset of the most important people they are positioning their brand in front of currently is.

The BAM Group has taken another step forward with the appointment of Brad Harris as its Sales Executive.

Brad comes to the BAM Group after a long history in the automotive and motorsport space. After working for many years in new car sales for both Holden and Ford, he was introduced to motorsport with the AP Eagers Group as a sponsor of the Triple 8 Racing team. This then led to an opportunity to work with Dick Johnson Racing from 2011 as a sponsorship manager.

Brad will be responsible for selling a number of products right across the BAM Group suite, principally beginning with The Motorsport Report survey results.

The entire BAM Group team is pleased to welcome Brad on board.

The BAM Group’s Speedcafe motor racing website has shown a dramatic increase in unique browsers of nearly 50% for the financial year ending June 30, 2013, however the most impressive statistic from it’s 2013 figures is the exponential growth in access from mobile devices.

An extraordinary 1.3 million additional page visits have been recorded from mobile devices in the 12 month period ending June 30, 2013 - a 232.48% increase over the same period ending in 2012. This figure exceeds the Australian sport average for web access through tablets and smartphone technology - year on year growth rated at 37% in 2013 in a recent study by Perform Progressive Sports Media.

In total, over 40% of traffic to Speedcafe comes from mobile devices - up from 18% in the 12 months prior.

Comparing overall unique browsers (also known as unique visitors) from the year ended June 30, 2012 to that ending June 30, 2013, an increase of 47.58% in visitor numbers to 842,296 individuals visiting Speedcafe is being shown with site visits attracting a 50.73% increase on the previous year.

Page impressions have shown an 84.27% increase to almost 12 million, up from 6.3 million in 2012.

In addition to the growth in numbers, Speedcafe has welcomed new Platinum Partners to it’s list of those using the site as a solid marketing platform.

International tyre manufacturer Dunlop, Australian finance organisation Finance EZI and Malaysian car manufacturer PROTON have joined the fleet of long term partners that also includes PIRTEK, Armor All, Castrol EDGE, Coates Hire, Crimsafe, IRWIN Tools, JobStop and OzSpeedShop.

The BAM Group’s online store, OzSpeedShop has joined forces with AS1 Marketing to form a unique corporate hospitality option at many of the V8 Supercar events throughout the latter part of the year.

The suites are an interactive experience with many driver visits and surprises throughout the weekend with a world class motorsport memorabilia display.

The OzSpeedShop Suite is the brainchild of AS1 Marketing’s Managing Director and a good friend of the BAM Group, Stewart Smith.

Stewart was the marketing and sponsorship head of Orrcon Steel during the 11 years the company held naming rights sponsorship of Ford Performance Racing’s

Falcons, operating arguably the best corporate hospitality programs in V8 Supercars.

Already, the OzSpeedShop Suites have become the hospitality option of choice for a number of V8 Supercars teams, sponsors and support categories, including Wilson Security, Jeld-Wen, Waverley Forklifts, Finance EZI, the V8 Utes, iSEEK and Touring Car Masters among others.
