Design Goals

With rapidly changing technology, an up-to-date telecommunications network infrastructure is needed for a company

to keep up with their competitors.

Four new telecommunications closets will be added to the AstroPower Headquarters. Each will be equipped with a data rack

and risers to link to the new main Data Center, located on the second floor. Using Category 6 plenum-rated cable, a new network

will be developed for the AstroPower Office.

Main Data Center

The Main Data Center will consist of a row of 48” deep cabinets with multiple servers. The room will also feature a UPS to backup the

entire system in the even of power failure. Construction of the room will be completed by multiple vendors in compliance with the

Owners for their individual wants and needs.
