Dear all Sports Fans,

I warmly welcome you to our beautiful country Indonesia, the

largest country in Southeast Asia.

And our beautiful Indonesia is now preparing for The Biggest

Sporting Event after the Olympics. By the grace of God,

Indonesia will be hosting the 18th Asian Games 2018, the

largest sporting event in Asia.

The 18th Asian Games is Indonesia’s second Asian Games, after

the 4th Asian Games in 1962. And, for the first time in Asian

history, the upcoming Asian Games 2018 will be held two cities

in Jakarta and Palembang, two historic cities, whose each has

a specific characteristics and unique attractions, as well as

World-Class sporting venues ready for action.

We deeply appreciate the chances given to Indonesia to be

the host for the 18th Asian Games, as this will be an important

milestone in Asian history. And therefore, I would like to invite

all of you, our esteemed sports fans, to come to Indonesia and

be part of this journey.

find pertinent information, such as Games Schedules, Venues,

Ticket Prices, and most importantly the procedures to obtain

the tickets.

OPENING ANDCLOSING CEREMONIES

On 18 August 2018 Gelora Bung Karno will welcome thousands of spectators, athletes and hundred millions of viewers to Asian Games 2018. This will be a history for Indonesia to be Asian Games host country for the second time since 1962, and for 20 days will hold the biggest sports competition after the Olympic Games.

The opening ceremony will show music and dance performances

combined with the natural beauty of Indonesia’s culture that show

unity and diversity. It will be a day to remember moments such as

the Parade of nations and the lighting of the main cauldron.

20 days after the spectacular opening, the closing ceremony will

deliver a tribute to remarkable athletes and celebrate all we’ve

achieved. And witness the baton relay as Indonesia will pass the

baton to Hangzhou China, which will be the host of the 2022

Asian Games.

There are two ceremonies and 40 sports to choose. Some of those are broken down into

disciplines such as cycling (BMX, Mountain, Road or Track) and Gymnastic. You will find

details of each disciplines within this guide.

• A Session

The Sport Program take place for over 19 days. Each day is broken down into sessions

classified as preliminaries, quarter Finals, Semi finals and Finals . Please note that all

competition schedules are subject to change at any time.

• A Price Category

You will always select a ticket for a particular price category rather than specific seats,

which is why seating plans are not available. Most sessions have tickets available in more

than one price category.

A ticket in price category A will provide seating with a better view of the field of play than a

ticket price category C at the same session and venue. All price categories will still provide

a great games experience.

2. Completetheapplication Complete each of the sessions on the application form to confirm the price , quantity and type of

tickets you would like to apply for.

3. Plan your Payment You can pay by Visa (debit or credit). Regardless of your payment method, please ensure you
