Velvet Basil Sip

Ingredient Amount

Basil Wine Syrup 1 Ounce

Cucumber 4 Thin slices

Kosher salt 1 Pinch

Gin 2 Ounce

Fresh lime juice 1 Ounce

Egg white 1/2 Ounce

Ice

Combine the cucumber slices with the basil wine syrup and a pinch of salt in the bottom of a cocktail mixer and muddle until well broken up. Add gin, lime juice, and egg white. Dry shake (without ice) for 30 seconds to froth the egg white. Add ice and shake well until the outside of the shaker is frosted. Double strain the cocktail into a coupe glass or wine glass. Serve with a thin cucumber slice and/or thin lime wheel.

Jalapeno Cucumber Margarita

Ingredient Amount

Silver Tequila 2 Ounces

Orange liquor 1 Ounce

Lime juice, freshly squeezed 1 Ounce

Agave or simple syrup 1 tsp

Jalapeno cucumber juice 1 Ounce

Kosher salt for the rim

Ice

Prepare your glass by running a slice of lime around the outside of the rim-one half of the rim only. Turn the outside of the rim of the glass through the salt and set aside. Add 1 cup of ice to the cocktail shaker. Pour in tequila, orange liquor, lime juice, agave, and jalapeño cucumber juice. Cover and shake for 30 seconds. Pour contents into salt rimmed glass. Garnish with a wedge of lime.
