When you go to the same school with the same people for both your junior high andhigh school years, you’re bound to have some pretty memorable times. Here are some

of the best memories that members of the class of 2021 have had throughout theirTecumseh school experience.

Payton Buse- It would either be setting a sectional record thisseason in swim or winning Homecoming King with AmberSheets as Queen.

Gracie Gogel- My best high school memory was the two yearsI got to go to the FFA National Convention with the other FFAmembers. COVID sadly took away these last two years ofgoing, but the late night drives and all of the memories wemade on those trips were some memories I will never forget.

Simon Hahn- Mine would be our team beating Eastern Greene 6-0 this year during thesectional football game.

Lydia Howe- It would probably be sophomore yearAlmost Anything Goes, because that was the year wewon.

Lane Patterson- My favorite memory was when I was in7th grade at a school assembly when Mr. Paige rolledout on a “wrecking ball” but he was actually just on ayoga massage ball.

Emma Scales- My favorite memory at Tecumseh was being on the swim team andhaving the opportunity to build good relationships with my teammates and coach. Wealways had a fun time together.

Abby Teddleton- My favorite memory is when we were on the field and someone threwa bucket at me and I tried to stop it with my foot but instead my foot went all the waythrough the bucket.

Jacob Werner- It was always fun going to someone’s house or out to eat in betweengoing to tech school and Tecumseh.

The staff at Tecumseh have seen most of the seniors grow and learn for the past sevenyears. We are so proud of the young adults you’ve become. Since we have all been in

your shoes before, we have some words of wisdom to share!

Mr. Loveless: You will spend 30+ years in a career. Find something that doesn'tfeel like "work".Mr. Oxley: Don't wait for extraordinary opportunities; Seize common occasionsand make them great.Senora Tooley: Do not be afraid of failure. We learn from our failures and that'swhat helps us to succeed.Mrs. Schleter: Dr. Seuss once said: “You have brains in your head. You have feetin your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You’re onyour own and you know what you know. And you are the guy who’ll decidewhere to go.” I have learned in my life that you can’t do what you think willplease others. Don’t be pulled in a direction that isn’t your own path, follow yourheart and passions and dreams. You might be surprised where that path maylead!Ms. Rexing: "Whether you intend to or not, you are going to change the world insome way. Make it positive."Determine your own definition of success and work hard to achieve itAlways plant corn two inches into the ground but not until the groundtemperature reaches 50 degrees.”Mrs. Ashby: Call your mother often.
