  TheCoerciveActsof1774weretherootcauseofrebellioninAmerica.English arrogance and English government had finally gotten thebetterofthemselves,andAmericanswerenolongergoingtotaketheEnglish’s attitude any longer. This was the beginning of massmeetings,meetingsthathadnotbeensincetheseventeenthcentury.It was pandemonium. Everyone competed against the other forpolitical control. This approach to independencewas not on therighttrack.

  Americanlifewasontheroadtoregulationsandcontrols of various aspects were beingimplemented by the end of 1774. Towns eachhadnewgovernmentsthatwerenewlycreatedofthe colonies. It was highly recommended theCoercive Acts to be resisted to achieveindependenceandfreedom.

  Congresswasnotreadyorpreparedforthisandtriedtopreventthisfromhappening,butalas,itwastoolate.

  The declaration of independence was in abeginning in 1775 when the Britishgovernment had already been planning formilitary action. It was a time when thecolonists that were the supporters of theNorthwerebrought“back into line”bythekingandhismen.Itwasatryingtime.

  Delegates met from all areas in hopes toaccomplishtheirownagendas.Itwasreallydisheartening for those that truly believedinthecauseforindependenceandfreedom.

  April 1775was amemorable time, itwas a timewhenfightingbrokeout in Massachusetts. This was due to the British government’sassumptionsthatBostonwastoblamebecauseBostonappearedtobethecenterforAmerica’sdisturbances.Reallywhenitcamedowntoit,itwasreallyanassumptionperceivedfromtheCoerciveActsof 1774.So itwas logical for theBritish government to continue this type ofthinking.
