• The humpback whales are called like that, because they have a humped back.

Why is it Endangered?

• Habitat loss – some people throw trash in the ocean, and humpbacks eat it, get really sick, then, they die.

• One of the humpback whale’s names is the Sea Monster, because long ago, people killed them thinking they were sea monsters.

• In the beaches, there are signs that say: “don’t throw trash in the ocean” and some which say: “ don’t kill are animals!”
