THE TOY SIGHTHOUND

Italian Greyhounds are Sighthounds, but they compete in the Toy Group at AKC shows, which makes their results difficult to compare with those of the larger Sighthound breeds. No I.G. appears among the top BIS winners in the first decades after the award was made official by AKC, and none has so far been # 1 Toy Dog or in the Top 10 of all breeds at AKC shows.
