the Albertian Newsletter was released by
the Principal Dr. Nelson Rodrigues by

Parappilly, President, Paravoor Block

initiative by the NCC Air Wing and the
Department of Mathematics, St. Albert's College (Autonomous), Ernakulam.
St. Albert's College (Autonomous) has always been at
the forefront of ensuring learning and education
opportunities for students and faculty for more than
seven decades and it is a matter of great pride and th
happiness that the college has been ranked the 97
position by National Institute Ranking Framework
(NIRF) of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
Congratulations and thank you to every single person who worked tirelessly for the
growth of this great institution!
Humans
a r e
simple
beings with the
phenomenal capacity to over
complicate things. But the world around
has forgotten about human capacity.
Human capacity doesn't manifest
merely as atomic bombs, wars, arms and
ammunition. Human capacity manifests
i tself in kindness, compassion,
happiness and goodness. But the
attention span of humankind has fallen
on the necessity to focus on what is
negative. Broken world, bombarded
cities, murdered lives. And we've all
somehow started to believe that humans
have lost the capacity for goodness. In a
world of individuals capable of taking
others' lives, we have people believing
in this capacity. On one side, children
are killed. But on the other, we have
people risking lives to bring toys and
happiness to suffering children. We all
need a reason to believe. To believe that
we can do good. We need to move away
from anyone who tries to tell us that the
world can't get better. We need kindness.
We need to believe in our capacity for
goodness.

Department distributed two smart phones to two BSc final year Chemistry students, enabling them to join the online classes
regularly. The generous efforts by the students and faculty are highly appreciable.
