The main goal of the association is to inspire curiosity for the world among children and adults all ages, to highlight the role of individual experience, commitment, creativity and critical thinking. It conducts different informal educational activities, supports better understanding of science and inspires social dialogue on the role of science and building the sense of identity and responsibility.The members of the association want to increase the effectiveness of their actions -exchange smart practices, join nationwide projects, participate in social debateand obtain the sources of financing for our ideas.
Science organisations, interational institutions and corporations, academics and politics see the importance of involving the society in the global debate about the role of science and technology in stimulating the developement in the world.There are almost 3000 science centres in the world with over310 Millions visitors each year. The centres activities today isnot just demonstrating the nature phenomenons. Most of them ancourage the society to a dialog about globalproblems, give local leaders tools to follow the Sustainable Development Goals.

The International Science Center and Science Museum Day (ISCSMD)
is a yearly, global event illustrating the impact and reach of all the world’s science centers and science museums.
It demonstrates the role these institutions play in raising awareness of—and engagement in—sustainabledevelopment and the solutions to worldwide challenges such as climate change, human health, energy, waste, watershortages, gender, oceans, and other global issues.
Science centers and science museums worldwide take the opportunity of this day to celebrate and promote theirmissions through widely diverse informal science education and engagement activities addressing the critical topicsdefined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Science centers and science museums are present on all continents and welcome 300 million visitors each year whoare actively seeking information and support to make changes in their communities.The day is also a reminder about the universality of science and its capacity to build bridges across geographical,cultural, and religious boundaries while addressing common concerns.
