Aims of this project: Gauge the relevance and importance of values education
among CityU teachers and students Identify the current (explicit and implicit) values education
practices and related areas of concern of CityU teachers and students
Provide some practical strategies that teachers can incorporate into the learning environments they create to facilitate the practice and reinforcement of universal human values
Survey of Teachers and Survey of Teachers and StudentsStudents
The questionnaires: were distributed, by our hardworking student
helpers, to 124 randomly selected teachers and 247 students from different faculties and departments. (Response rate = 50%)
comprised 58 and 42 Likert-type items, respectively, on a scale of 1 to 5. (1 = Strongly Disagree, 5 = Strongly Agree)
