WORLD-CHANGING INNOVATION. CREATED IN BROOKLYN. In Brooklyn, people do things a little differently. They embrace the unconventional, fight for what they believe and don’t back down. That’s the energy our students and faculty put into digital media—its business and technology. They make connections, innovate solutions and advance ideas that change industries. Our alumni include Nobel Prize winners, astronauts, university presidents and the leaders and founders of more than 2,000 corporations, including the current CEOs of Xerox and Lockheed Martin.

Integrated Digital Media student Francisco Javier Molina explores the relationship of cutting-edge technology to contemporary art.

GAME-CHANGING INDUSTRYThe Brooklyn Tech Triangle is home to more than 520 creative and technology firms, which represent roughly 10,000 jobs. These same companies project 100% growth in employment by the year 2015. This extraordinary expansion is complemented by the dozens of large, established tech companies such as Google, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn that have opened offices in Greater New York City in the past few years and enabled NYC to surpass tech centers like Boston in attracting venture capital.
