How is it scored?

Receive 5-7 scores Scale from 1-36 in each section English Math Reading Science Scores are averaged together to get the

composite score you hear so many students talking about.

How is the ACT different from the ACT/MME?

ACT-is a test that is given for FREE to 11th grade students. The score IS college reportable.

MME-is an additional test given during the test window to assess schools/students on the state recommended curriculum.

45 minute English Test with 75 questions

60 minute Math Test with 60 questions

35 minute Reading Test with 40 questions

35 minute Science Reasoning test with 40 questions

When can you take the ACT…IF you want to retake it after March.

answer sheet for $10 Most people take it as a junior in high school You can take it as many times as you would like. Scores are not shared unless you specify which

scores and with whom you want to share them. REGISTER-4-5 weeks before the actual exam or you will pay MORE Online @ www.act.org ACT paper registration (available in counseling office) Use if you need: Disability accomindations To change your test center or test date To use a state-funded voucher or fee waiver Are enrolled in 6,7,8,9 grades Will NOT be paying with a Visa or MasterCard By Phone **if you have registered for a national test date within the last two years
