The Aaron Bonner Foundation has taught me that even the impossible is possible, if I’m willing to work hard.

Aaron Bonner was a Howard University Student who passed away from Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (NPC) in July 2008. After being diagnosis his freshman year, Bonner divided his time between Cincinnati OH, his hometown, and Washington DC, as he was determined to continue his studies. From August 2002 to the fall of 2007, Bonner fought valiantly to remain at Howard University and achieve his dream of becoming a graduate. He had a smile that could light up a room and a spirit that was larger than life. His unique journey has served as a tes-tament to others, affirming that life is indeed a gift and meant to be enjoyed. Moreover, his tenacity has inspired others to persevere in spite of their circumstance. He demonstrated this daily as he strived to reach new height despite his illness.
