• “A little bit of dirt never hurt anyone” / “a lot of contamination is required to make someone sick”

• “I’ve been here 30 years and never made anyone sick”

• "I flush at the end of the job, so that gets rid of any contamination”

• “I flush until clear, so the water can’t be contaminated”

Reinforcing the message

No more paperwork, no more telling people how to do stuff. ……….I work with quite a few different crews and people and I stand back and see the boys doing things they wouldn’t have done 2 years ago –they are actually thinking about contamination and doing the 5Cs and I don’t have to say anything.”

“The 5Cs caters for most issues, it’s a good layout. We don’t need any more paperwork.”

“We look at the job, and can make it easier for ourselves if we do the 5Cs. In the past we used to dump all fittings on the ground but now we keep them on the truck or in a bucket until we need them which actually keeps them out of the way too.”

“It’s legit, and all of it is helpful, it’s a good process –all the training we’ve had.”

Thank you
