§ The Number One Cause For Incomplete Work Is Interruptions.§ Many teams operate under the fire alarm model.

§ This work is expected to be handled in addition to any and all work that the team has committed to.

§ Teams of seven with interruptions are not as effective as a team of six without interruptions.

Session Conclusions:

When we focus on outcome instead of output, we achieve happy customers. This is a new and better way to think of and consider rank order.

Stop organizing the people! Assemble right sized teams and allow them to swarm to limited work in progress. Products and services will get to market sooner and give us a chance to inspect and adapt.

Test Automation or Optimization is a critical component to the successful Agile implementation. Manual testers will never be able to keep up with the workload.

Find the balance between the development needs, strategic benefit, and consumer awareness. Build the right thing quickly and correctly.
