The 81st Annual Convention approved Resolution 2001-06 changing the membership criteria. Senior Non-Commissioned Officers ARE ELIGIBLE for regular membership in National Sojourners. The criteria: If discharged or retired prior to June 1958 in Pay Grade E7, E6 or E5, the member is eligible for regular membership. After that date it must be Pay Grade of E9, E8, or E7.

If you meet this criterion and you wish your Senior Non-Commissioned Grade title used in your record, contact your Chapter Secretary. He will advise Headquarters to convert your membership status from honorary to active status. Headquarters must be furnished with the CORRECT ABBREVIATION; otherwise, the record will reflect Mr. as the title.
