Mrs Elliott said shiny clutch purses and handbags will be matched up with bright fascina- tors by the ladies with the gents also looking to match their ties with the colour of choice of their partner on the day. “In terms of fascinators and headwear bright colours teamed with blingy clutch bags are what the girls are going with.” “The guys are complementing colours with the girls this year, so bright coloured ties that match with or tie in with what their partners are wearing,” “Mostly long ties, little skin- ny ties are starting to come through again.” There will be plenty on offer from the licenced venues on the day with Glen Innes and District Services Club holding a chicken and champagne luncheon for $15 and they will also hold a fashions on the field competition and a fashion parade with Ms Elliot involved, with prizes for best dressed lady and man and best dressed hat, there will also be race themed giveaways dur- ing the day.
