What started in 1979, as a ”Retriever reel” cobbled together using a discarded shampoo bottle, some scrap aluminum, metal parts from a machine shop (All Metal Stamping – thus AMS) and rubber wheels has evolved into an industry.

Due to dangerous methods of line attachment to bowfishing arrows in the past, AMS Bowfishing developed and patented the EverGlide™ Safety Slide® system. This system, if used properly, ensures that your line will remain out in front of the arrow rest and away from the bowstring on the shot.

How It WorksJust tie your line to the slide, nock the arrow with the shock pad facing up while keeping the slide in front of your arrow rest. When the shot is taken, the arrow will move through the slide to the shock pad, taking the line with it. The line stays in front of the arrow rest at all times. Special Ops Night Light M117

Bowfish in stealth mode and light up those fish all night! Our Special Ops light has proven itself as one of the brightest LED bowfishing flashlights on the market. Its focused beam and deep water penetration cannot be outdone!

This amazingly bright 900 lumen LED light is extremely efficient on battery life while the extended remote switch allows the light to be activated when the bow is at full draw for the ultimate ”sneak attack”. The Special Ops Mount System allows the light to be positioned at eye-level which improves the sight line to the target. At only 1/8” thick, it mounts beneath AMS Retriever® reels and archery sights to the sight holes of the bow and allows for quick removal as needed.

A standard push button tail cap for the light is also provided for additional uses. Powered by a rechargeable 18650 battery for a continuous life of up to 260 hours in eco mode or 2 hours in turbo mode. The battery contains a micro USB port for quick recharge with a micro USB charging cord (charging cord not included).

Traditional Mount Kit M107

Mount your AMS Retriever® reels or bowfishing accessories to your traditional bow without drilling or tools. Tough rubber straps protect your bow from the solid aluminum bracket. Simply stretch the straps around the riser of the bow and secure on the stainless steel pins. The bracket has two, 10-24 screw holes to accept AMS Retriever® reels and one 5/16-24 hole for other accessories.
