ArtThe ‘70s was an interesting time for males in the art industry because females also in the industry also began an up rise with the Feminist Art Movement. Women claimed that for a long time, practically since the beginning of time, men have always portrayed themselves as superior over women in art. Whether it be a picture of a family or a flinging romance, men always showed themselves as “in control” and women of the ‘60s and ’70s did not like this so they chose to display their thoughts, their way.

Historical Events

THIS JUST IN, THIS JUST IN!!The Beatles had finally disbanded due to their first and ever loved, manager Brian Epstein’s passing. Business/IndustriesSadly enough, yet still very surprising, the automobile industry began to fail. There was inflation, high interest rates, price control, yes that’s right REGULATED prices for cars that could not be of high quality but car dealers would have you paying high prices for them. Later in “1973-1974, and 1979…U.S. automakers faced more competition from foreign manufacturers”

Wars/ConflictsA group of five Palestinians decided to hijack five planes that were arriving from Belgium, Switzerland, Greece, Israel, and India. They took the planes and met at Dawson’s Field, let out all the non-Jewish people and held 56 Jewish people hostage. This terrorist attack finally ended when an agreement was made by the Jordan (Middle East) government to release four of the terrorists members from jail.
