Airtel Gifting Service has been launched for prepaid customers in Bangladesh --- the first of its kindservice platform to allow friends and family on Airtel to share gifts and talktime with one another.This service allows Airtel customers to share talk time as well as special gift bundles that includevarious combinations of talk time, SMS, data, etc. What is more, now when an Airtel customer islow on credit balance, he or she can simply request for talk time from friends. Customers can alsouse the special ‘Call Me Back’ service which sends out an SMS to a friend for a call back requestwhen their balance is BDT 1 or lower.

share talk time:•You can share your talk time with friends and loved ones whenthey need it the most. The talk time can only be shared with airtelpre-paid mobile users.•You can share a minimum of amount of Tk. 5 and a maximumamount of Tk. 40 with your friends provided you have a minimumbalance of Tk. 10 post deduction (inclusive of service fee).•You can share talk time upto 5 times a day and 25 times in amonth. You can share talktime with 10 unique friends everycalendar month.

unique gift packs:•You can now choose from an exciting range of packs togift to your friends and loved ones. you have options ofgifting voice minutes, SMS or GPRS.•To be able to send a gift, you should be using your airtelprepaid connection for 60 days or more.•You can send upto 5 gift packs in a day and upto 25 in amonth.•Gift packs can be sent to a maximum of 10 uniquenumbers in a month.

Airtel Bangladesh Ltd has signed a corporate agreement with Western MarineShipyard Ltd at their Chittagong Corporate Office. Based on this contract WesternMarine will avail Airtel Corporate connections and Value added service.

Dutch Bangla Bank Ltd(DBBL) has signed a deal with Airtel Bangladesh and FakirFashion Ltd on mobile banking service.Under this agreement, employees of Fakir Fashion will receive their monthly salariesdirectly into their DBBL mobile Banking accounts.

Mir Mominul Huq, head of Mobile Banking Division of DBBL, ASM Sakib Sikder, head of Legal of Airtel and Fakir Kamruzzaman Nahid, managing director of Fakir Fashion signed the deal on behalf of their respective organizations at DBBL head office .

Dutch-Bangla Bank (DBBL) and Airtel Bangladesh Ltd. signed an agreement on Mobile Banking Services atthe Head Office of DBBL on December 06, 2012. Mr. Mir Mominul Huq, Head of Mobile Banking Divisionof DBBL and Ms. Rubaba Dowla, Chief Service officer and Head of m-commerce of Airtel on behalf oftheir respective organizations signed the deal.The agreement is going to facilitate aunique model, first of kind, throughwhich airtel will now collect anddisburse various payments via DBBLmobile banking system. Airtel fieldexecutives will make the dailycollection of e recharge sales proceedsthrough DBBL mobile wallet. This is aninnovation to the process whichreduces commuting time of the salesforce and ensures a faster collection.Under the same agreement, airtel willalso disburse periodic rent payments tothe mobile bank accounts of BTS landowners. Both the activities haveopened a new horizon for mobilebanking to pave its way towardsfinancial inclusion of a biggercommunity.

Airtel Bangladesh Limited has received exclusive ticket selling rights for Bangladesh PremierLeague (BPL) 2013, the biggest annual cricket event in Bangladesh. Airtel had signed a contractwith Active Services, the official ticketing partner of BPL. This entitles Airtel Bangladesh Limitedas the only mobile operator to distribute BPL tickets. Under this tie up, Airtel also received theactivation campaign rights with BPL tickets and ticket information.

Airel Bangladesh Limited has organized a kite festival " Airtel Kite Fest"tocelebrate victory day on December 16, 2012. The kite festival started at 12 PMand continued throughout the day at Kalabagan Field.
