In the year 1621 the Pilgrams and Native Americans came together and had a big feast

This lasted 3 days long They had a lot of the food that we eat

today

This became an official Holiday in 1863 by Abraham Lincoln (one of the presidents in EEUU)

It is celebrated the 4th Thursday in November We use this day to be with family and have a

big feast During dinner we go around and say what we

are thankful for For example- “I am thankful for my family and

friends”
