Thanksgiving Feast Letter

November 10, 2011 Dear Parents & Guardians, I am hoping to have a Thanksgiving Feast for the Third Graders in class on Friday, November 18 at 11:00am to allow them to experience the meeting of the Pilgrims and Indians, expose them to table manners, and practice sharing. At the feast, we will be playing games, doing an art project, and eating. I would like to have a fruit salad (canned, fresh, or both), cornbread or canned corn, turkey/chicken, cranberry juice, pumpkin pie, and whipped cream. Any other donations or ideas are welcome!! If you are willing to donate any of the above items, please check a box below and return the bottom portion by Tuesday, November 15. Thank you for enhancing your child’s third grade experience.
