My name is John Lloyd-Hughes and for more than 25 years I have worked in all aspects of advertising and marketing. Despite the technology I still believe that ultimately it’s people that matter.

Whether you are providing a service or looking to buy what type of person or company do you prefer to deal with?

Of course.

So this publication is not just about what I do but how I do it and why. Call me old school but trust and integrity work for me.

Is this a piece of marketing collateral?

Absolutely it is but it’s more about ethos and transparency than product or service offering.

I can’t handle the conveyancing on your property or perform bariatric surgery but if I could it would be done with the same level of craft and diligence as those tasks I am qualified to accomplish.

So yes this is me marketing myself. And why not? I am extremely proud of my ethics, knowledge and drive.

over 25 years in 15 lines

Above the line, below the line. Regional agency, marketing agency. Direct mail, press advertising. Printed literature, point of sale. Cross media and social media. Private sector, public sector.

Nobody knows it all but I have seen and handled my fair share. Worked alongside some great people and some demanding clients.

Enjoyed and still enjoying every moment. Still get a buzz taking a concept through to completion whether it’s for a national brand or a one man band.

always look forwards

Technology has massively impacted and continues to influence everything we do and how we do it.

The game and rules have not changed. We’re just playing with different types of equipment. Steel golf club shafts versus graphite. Wooden racket frames versus carbon fibre.

I love technology and the new equipment so whilst my own personal values remain unchanged my areas of expertise now include social media, websites and video to engage and grow your audience.
