Bakeless Bake Sale: The UCHS Auxiliary Bakeless Bake Sale is being held during the month of February. Your donation helps keep tuition costs down, purchase items such as books, lab equipment, music play scripts, tables, chairs etc., all which help make Unity a stronger school. At this point the Auxiliary has already donated $14,440 to the school from the proceeds of the Hostess Supper. We appreciate any contribution you can give to help UCHS. 1. Call to Order: Brad Dekkers. All present except Doug Broek with notice.
2. Devotions and Lunch : Kelly Noteboom, read from Ecclesiastes 5:1-7
Prayer Concerns- Gilbert, Pete & Jo Dekkers, Kory Bonnema, The newly formed council.
3. Approval of Council Minutes- Read and approved.
4. From the Elders: Grady Dekkers will be baptized January 22, 2017. Profession of Faith of Kortnie Bonnema January 29.
5. Correspondence – Pastor Verlyn Schaap’s retirement at Sargent Bluff January 24. Day of Encouragement is February 4.
6. Pastor’s Report- A closed facebook prayer page is made for our congregation. Pastor Nate reported on his visits.
7. Committee Reports
a. Education- Sunday School and Catechism are going well.
b. Faith & Fellowship – Justin Dekkers will be taking care of organizing meals for those needing
them of the congregation.
c. Worship- Software for worship planning is being looked at.
d. Building- Pastor’s mailbox put up. Shelving put up in the cadet building for church storage.
