TeenTober TeenTober is a nationwide celebration hosted by libraries every October and aims

to celebrate teens, promote year-round teen services and the innovative ways Teen services helps teens learn new skills, and fuel their passions inside and

outside the library. TeenTober allows libraries the flexibility to choose what to celebrate (digital literacy, reading, technology, writing, etc)

and the length of time for each celebration.

This year we will have a reading challenge for all teens for the month of October. Teens that register receive a book and all teens that complete their activity booklet receive a weekly prize. Go to mccordlibrary.org/teentober for more information

Inkjet Recycling If you have inkjets we can use

them to raise funds for the library. Each inkjet recycled is an inkjet that stays out of the landfill. There is a nationwide shortage of recycled inkjets.

Donated inkjets can be dropped off in the cardboard box

on the glass display case on the landing lobby.

Simply search for “mccord library”
